@@WinItReigns my vote is the lexicon...it's going to be my next purchase. Every major studio I have ever been in has always had the unit sitting on the console. Tape emulation (to my ears) is noise & hiss a lot of times... I have not used the theirs just yet but I will give search TH-cam Univ to see...
Fantastic job explaining the knobs and process flow of the API Vision. I love the graphic showing how the audio is manipulated by the various processing; I honestly don't know why this is not the standard among engineers. You have a great teaching style as well. Please keep doing the deep dives, they are really excellent.
Really great job. I bought the plugin yesterday and had for the most part stayed away from channel strips. No I feel better equipped to use this tool. Thank You.
Such a good video! I’ve been using this channel strip for a bit now it’s a great step up from the studio one stock channel. Nice to know the more advanced features such as the side chaining, gate/expander. Thank you!
If you are using this on a microphone be careful your volume is down before clicking on the 212L mic setting. It adds in my opinion too much gain but if you adjust your channel volume it will work fine.
Thanks for the thorugh explanation. Maybe later you can give your explanation how to use it on a bus or main mix channel. I really enjoyed your presentation.
great job , I ve the plugin , but I am a beginner what plug in you re using to visualise , what it s doing to your kick and snares on the right side of the screen
I am considering purchasing the API channel strip for LUNA. I notice they also have Aan API extension for quite a bit more money. Are the extensions actually integrated into the strips of the console kind of like the advertised integration of the consoles in Studio One to get that analog "bleed", or is the only difference that the extensions are visible all the time on the faders and the channel strip only comes up through the insert? Also, I am wondering In your opinion if this is a similar product as Harrison Mixbus in that they boast analog sound using their digital consoles. Thanks
I just purchased this plugin two days ago...you my friend have done an incredible job at showing how this plugin works...THANKS
Its in my cart now with the studder 800, and lexicon 224.
You have any suggestions?
Considering that we both have good taste.
Lol

One of my favorite plugins. It's always on my kick, snare, and toms. The AMEK is for hats and overheads.
