If I was just starting out today, I would advise myself to buy this plug first. Its my favorite SSL emulation. I have the Waves and UAD version but the BX plug sounds much more musical.
Flood and Alan Moulder say in a video that soft synths have no harmonic distortion and therefore they end up sending it through analog gear or a miked amp to give the soft synth harmonics. So my question is would this and other Brainworx plugins take care of that problem?
