Burlingtonian here. I am all in support of what you are doing but there IS a little bit of a gray area around HIPAA violations when recording people who are coming and going from a medical faciity, which is what the Turning Point treatment and recovery center is. Staff doesn't usually fall under those protections but clients and patients do. It's murky. You are in public space and have every right to record while outside buuuuuut.... that guy who was taken out on a stretcher would not have been in a situation to be recorded unless he needed emergency medical transport.... and whatever happened to him happened inside the facility, it seems like. That blurs the lines of what is and isn't fair game to be made public. Anyway. Please don't stop doing what you are doing!! Just maybe be a bit mindful of context?
