- Do you know the signs and symptoms of a stroke or what do you if you or someone you love may be experiencing a stroke? Franciscan Health explains the proper response in this situation. A stroke occurs when blood flow to a part of the brain is cut off or drastically reduced. Brain cells begin to die when they are deprived of oxygen and glucose. Permanent brain damage or death is possible if a stroke is not caught early. It is important to know what to do and be able to respond quickly.

I'm a lifeguard and this was very well done except for the fact that the rescuer told the victim that they thought they were having a stroke. That could put the patient into shock and worsen the situation. I assuming the rescuer is not a doctor so other things could also be the cause of the issue (such as a TIA). Other than that, good job. I will definetly show this video when I teach first aid

I’m only 18 but ever since this happened to my dad I’ve been terrified.
I had no idea I was having a stroke. I had many TIA's before my full stroke. Some of my stroke symptoms were vertigo and vision loss. I told my story on my youtube channel of what is was like before during and after.
This video makes me want to think of my grandma's mom that died and she didn't even give me a huge hug
I fell bad for her because she is out in an event and she is in the heat
