    At this point I am convinced that Marion is the Queen of the Deep Fry because I've cooked a few of our girl Marion's recipes now and all of them are tasty flavour bombs! I can't wait to make this :D My only question is what do you do with all the left over oil from frying? I funnel it back into the bottle, but should I not re-use my oil or should I only use certain oils for chicken etc. A video explaining what to do with your oil (after frying) would be wonderful.

    • @pixiebomb28
      @pixiebomb28 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      if the oil is not too full of floaties after use then you can totally store it in your fridge in another container and reuse as needed.

    If you want to keep it alcohol free, soda water / seltzer works well instead of beer!

    • @jn6711
      @jn6711 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for the tip. Is the result the same?

    • @tashsaysmeow
      @tashsaysmeow 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @@jn6711 its very similar! A slightly lighter flavour but very delicious! Add a dash of lemon or lime juice to the soda water so it has the same chemical reaction that the beer would have!

      @@exoarmy2918 it does! But some people can't use alcohol for religious reasons, or some people who are recovering alcoholics don't want to keep alcohol in the house. Also beer is expensive in some parts of the world.

So good I had to post it on my social media. The batter was super light and crunchy. This is my new batter for anything that needs that type of beer batter.

    A M A Z I N G !!! I just made this after a day of meetings. Yeah Yeah, I was watching Marion's meetings on my "breaks". Funny thing, I had my own pickled red onion in the fridge ready to go and whitefish in the freezer. So I defrosted the fish and chilled all the ingredients before I fried them up. Remember, people, I was working!!! Fried up the fish and wow - what a slam dunk recipe!!! So crispy, yummy, easy!!! TY Marion. I think I will book Marion's "meetings" on my calendar. LOL Take Care and stay well. ❣️🙌🏾🌟😋

    We always do beer-battered fish and shrimp tacos. The fish we use is swai which is a kind of catfish fillet. I think its from Vietnam... Great taste, super tender and it does not have that overwhelming fishy odor, always a plus!
