Playa del Carmen is my second favorite place in Mexico, after Progreso. Spent a month in a place overlooking Avenida 5. Easy access from Cancun to Tulum by Colectivo. Never a dull moment!
@@ImYourHucklebery117 Ya, when I was there they had that one main drag, but the town was not filled in like that. I remember lots of empty spaces and some cool abandon resorts up the beach.
@@stevedawson741 When I was there it had already gone way beyond the fishing village but still not overcrowded. There's a town on the Nortern tip of the sea of Cortez; San Felipe. I've been going there since the early 70s. It has grown a little, but not much. It's still got that sleepy fishing village feel. Even the dead center main drag has not changed. Highly recommend checking it out
Wow so brave to eat that pepper! The man was certainly impressed with "this gringo." Looks like so much good food there! Seems like every next taco becomes your favorite! :)
Jeffrey you are brutal eating those Habaneros, I can barely handle the pickled Jalapenos without seeds! ;)))) I know most Mexican people will admire you, because you outclass most of them eating those super hot chiles!
Hey I was going to PDC oh right before the Virus stuff hit. Had everything but just didn't go. Made Vegas my stop. Still interested in PDC, Cancun or well Mexico. Is July an Ok time to go?
Playa del carmen is a very dirty, unkept, unsanitary and high-crime place. I’ve been living here for 1 year and I do NOT recommend for more than 1 vacation week. Come and go. Don’t stay!
