    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you have an Elantra hybrid, then you don't have a conventional 12v accessory battery.
      It is not recommended to use your car to jumpstart another vehicle if that's the case. However in an emergency situation if you have no choice, there is a positive post in the fuse box under the hood on the driver side. The negative post is just one of the strut tower bolts.
      If you ever need to jumpstart your own vehicle, all you need to do is press the button on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel that says 12 volt reset.

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's not recommended on hybrid vehicles. But can be done if you find someone experienced with hybrids.
      It doesn't void warranty, but if it causes an issue with service or repair, then they might charge you for the issue.
      Personally... I wouldn't bother

    I have a 2023 Hybrid Blue. The cruise control has a small jerk that you can feel when cruising. Took it to dealer, nothing known about it. Me and service manager drove another Hybrid it had same issue. If your going to buy one check it out with cruise on. Oh, was wanting to trade due to the small jerking. My dealer offered me 7,000 dollars less than I paid. Only little over 1,000 miles and not a month old.

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  ปีที่แล้ว

      Your dealer isn't very good at trade values... These cars are highly sought after and are selling in the used market for as much and sometimes more then new! 😳
      I've not heard of any jerkiness on these vehicles to be honest... But One thing I could suggest is to give it some time, the transmission and engine computers need to learn your driving habits and adapt accordingly.
      Is it perhaps just the adaptive cruise picking up the car in front of you? ( If so equipped?)

    • @WC4WCRN
      @WC4WCRN ปีที่แล้ว

      @@edsgarage001 in Canada it seems like there isn’t a ultimate model for the Elantra at all, only luxury. Which still doesn’t have things like power driver seat, only N line ultimate gets it

      @@edsgarage001 Ed I spent endless time to find one 2022 Ultimate with Tech but couldn’t find it at all. At point I was willing to buy from anywhere in Canada. And this 2023 is not as per my liking. Too bad so sad 😞

      It's a hybrid🤷 and it's got more horsepower, and more torque then the Toyota Corolla hybrid, which is more expensive and uses more gas.
      If you want horsepower, get an Elantra N

      @@edsgarage001 You’re not wrong there about the Corolla. Would still pick the Elantra over it. It’s just disappointing considering the fact that the hybrid technology is becoming more and more accessible/ affordable and manufacturers are getting better and better at it but there’s little to no emphasis on the powertrain in this segment. A little more push would’ve been nice for sure

      These headlights are properly aimed and not annoying at all. Don't make assumptions based on poorly installed LEDs in halogen housings
