Wonderful video! There's a lack of information on this topic for doctors and especially doctors in Australia. The fact that we were never taught to manage our money is mind boggling. Really appreciate it
This video on growing wealth as a doctor is incredibly insightful! It offers valuable tips and strategies for medical professionals looking to build wealth, including advice on investments, savings, and financial planning. What if an IMG gets to Australia, buys a house planning to finish payment in 10 years only to be forced to move to another city in the other side of the country due to the registrar position they found?
Well explained. Thank you for the video 🎉 I was in Ireland, did plab and moved to UK thinking that i will move to Australia as you did. But we are a family of 3, i am a junior doctor and kind of frustrated with moving now even though UK isn’t very rewarding. Do you still recommend to move to Australia as a junior doctor or after specialising in about 10-15 years ? Thank you 😊
is it really possible to buy a house as an EM trainee? With time constraints set by ACEM on how many months you can spend in one ED, it is almost mandatory to have to travel out of state? Like, in NZ outside of Auckland I can't think of any place where you can set base for 5+ years
Absolutely, most ED and junior doctors buy their first house in first few years of their training. Most ED and specialist trainees complete their training in the same region. Even if one has to move, houses can be rented out easily

Is it beneficial to do electives in Australia as an img from Pakistan to increase my chances of getting job in Australia once I am done with my mbbs in Pakistan two years later? And how many electives should I aim for?
Dear doctor, Is it compulsory to nominate 2 supervisors ( Main and Co) for level 1 supervision IMG? Because the medical center provides a supervisor who already supervised a 2 IMG who is in level one as well as level 2( level two - main supervisor ,Level 1 - co supervisor) Is this becoming a problem for AHPRA registration?

Number 10 is most important and no one talks about it.
