- This is a video showing the new DJI Neo against the DJI Avata 2, Check out the difference between the 2 drones, Its hard to believe this Toy can perform so well against the Avata 2.
OMG, I can't believe the first flight was with the Neo 😳😳😳 Amazing FPV skills, and the Neo is simply awesome!!! 😍😍😍
@@DroneBenke-Hungary I was also shocked when gyroflow rendered the footage.
It makes no sense as this footage is 100 if not 1000 times better than all the other Neo footage I’ve see.
What’s your secret ?
@@walkerandwilliam Neo footage is great, just set the Sharpness to -2 and the noise reduction to -1.
@@PropertyFPVDroneToursUK did you use the motion controller, or FPV RC 3? 🤔 Probably the later... 😎
You’re a skilled flyer, but without your commentary if you had a split screen there would be no way of telling the cost of each drone. Knowing the Neo was first up, everyone was trying to pick out flaws in its flight and its video quality….. But without a split screen and knowing which drone was which, you could have told us it was a Mini 3 and a Mavic 3. In other words, the Neo is very capable and very impressive!!
Great comparison and great work!
It was definitely impressive although I could notice jaggies in the Neo video though they weren't so bad that it would totally put someone off it. Pretty amazing for the price point. Great video by the way.
I don't know if it's sharpness, noise reduction or whatnot on the Neo, but the Neo footage looked more artificial, like CGI. The Avata 2 footage looked more like a real world place. Good flights!
Really good video, Mate! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
I've been looking at this drone for a bit now. I think watching that has convinced me to get myself one
Outstanding!!!
Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge.

Simply Awesome, Flight.
Happy Flying!
In the hands of a pro anything is possible. Love the music too.
The wider angle of Avata helps keeping the viewer oriented in tight spaces, imo, especially if the client requires vertical content. However, I could see Neo useful on daytime events to manage the risk of flying over people. Once low light sets in, Neo's shortcomings become more obvious
@@ccc3 totaly agree, it’s like the tech is slightly worse than the avata 1 in low light
i think you nailed it.. 👍
Impressive! 👏👏👏
Seems like both will get you paid. If anyone is trying to get their start, the low cost DJI Neo can make that happen.
Good job that the building is well lit , otherwise it would force land , doesn't fly well unless it's a bright environment.
@@darrenowens1543 yes it’s like the Avata 1 for that.
Nice
See this is what I want to do, not even for the money.
Great, not much difference specially indoors, maybe the Avata 2 little sharper outside ! Great Video ! Neo does a good job specially inside will open possibilities for indoor flying where Avata is too big ! Why 4:3 ??
@@airbnbphotography 4:3 is the only way to get gyro data out of the neo in that mode.
That's an amazing video. How come you don't hit anything? Is it the obstacle avoidance that is doing that or is it your skillful flying?
Was it filmed in real time or sped up?
Cheers
@@spirittravels. the speed is ramped up to 166%
It is not bad but the avata is defo better and I would only use the neo for fun and maybe to limit the danger of injury etc in certain situations .
Note that £170 is with no controller so min spend as a new pilot is £300 and then if you want the proper experience with goggles and a full controller for acro you gotta be looking nearer a grand at which point you might as well get the avata.
However if you have everything already this could defo be a good standby for those really tight spots etc at £170 its nothing ...
@@FlyingFun. yes I agree it’s a bit expensive when you add the goggles and controller 3
avata still look a bit better for the video quality.
This is the video I wanted to see. I shoot drone video for clients with the mini 3 pro and I cant afford roght now an avata 2. Do you think I could shoot this kind of indoor video with the neo fly more kit with no googles ?
Without the goggles I wouldn’t say it’s impossible however it will be more challenging, I might do a video on this, good point
@@PropertyFPVDroneToursUK I will shure watch it.Thank you for your answer.
Cool video. Are you located inside or outside of the building when you film these? Do you ever have problems with signal penetration?
No problem, with ocusyc-4, the best
@@RadianXL2023 I was outside and I’m suprised how good the reception is for such a cheap drone.
Well with Ocusyc-4, no thing compares@@PropertyFPVDroneToursUK
@@PropertyFPVDroneToursUK yes, unbelievable!! so tiny drone can send 1080/60p live view from inside building with walls, metals, etc?!? really?
With the NEO you had the googles too right?
@@johnagius2743 yes and controller 3
I watched this on my tv. The Avanta footage glitched every 4 seconds like it had dropped frames. The Neo footage didn't have this issue.
Did this happen to anyone else?
Rewatched on my phone and there's no issue.
How does the sensor cope with low light I’ve heard it can be poor and just drop to the floor
what sensor in manual mode?
I know you can use the Avata 2 Goggles for the NEO but can you use its stick controller or the Mini 4 Pros Controller or the Avata 1 Controller ?
Good question and I’m not sure, I would guess it has to be controller 3 for FPV mode, the other controller it comes with doesn’t fly the same it more like a mavic with that one.
DJI Mini 4 Pro RC2 or RC-N2, yes. Avata 1 RC no...
