- Long story short, I decided to relive my childhood and play Injustice 1 again, and that scene at the beggining of this video gave me the idea to make it XD
At first I took it somewhat seriously, but after that Arkham Knight scene it's just pure insanity.
Batsy and J have the STRONGEST ex lovers vibes, and everybody who denies it clearly never had an ex lover in their life. Or even a lover for that matter XD Mmmm, maybe I could make a "Batman and Joker being lovers" video too :P Or being ex lovers part two, if you'll inform me about some great scenes I've missed, I'm sure I have.
Materials used:
Injustice 1 and 2, Mortal Kombat 11, Arkham Knight, Telltale Batman Season 2, Batman TAS, Batman Hush, The Killing Joke, Batman vs TMNT, Lego Batman Movie, The Dark Knight and one episode of the Whorley Quan show
Also please don't ask me about the thumbnail, I have no idea who drew it XD I just remembered it existed and I thought it would make a nice thumbnail
Did you know there was a comic book planned about Batman and Joker being ex lovers in the 80's? But it never happened because the writers couldn't come up with a strong plot.

I think this scene is just like a really really good like nod to a killing joke because it is really like another way of Batman saying I want to help you and I see myself in you, but I don’t really want to admit it. And so I don’t want you to suffer. I feel like no matter what Batman is always going to be sympathetic in someway to the joker, so it makes a lot of sense that he liked him from the start.

So basically I never really liked the joker (I liked him in the Harley Quinn show, but besides that I've only ever really seen edgy guys on the internet relate to him) then I watched the Lego batman movie again and was like 'man I love this joker, why arent more jokers like him?'
Long story short, I found out a lot of jokers are like him, but a lot of movies erased the queercoding he's had since he was first written.
The queercoding was mostly erased because back then it was used as an insult :D But he still has that fab purple suit.
But you're right, if you've liked Joker only in the Lego Batman movie, you're not a Joker fan. But I get you with the 15 cringeboys, but that just happens when you're 15 XD

What I love about the telltale scenes, is how earnest and honest. Where in every series they make that's parallel with a show or something, and that something is changed even a bit, the characters give a wink of "this feels off" or "hmm that wasn't supposed to go that way" and its most apparent with Batman's TellTale, where I do like what was MEANT, is still the dynamo of Joker and Batman, why I always think he gets a Robin to show examples of how he could really change the Joker, just for the opposite effect and have Joker go angry with Jealousy, or spite from knowing exactly what Batman's thinking, where it be annoying like a boyfriend giving his girlfriend boxing gloves instead of ammo or a sword. Its ridiculous.
Well, Telltale is its own thing, its own lore 😃 They can do whatever they want with the characters
@@zalybrainlessgenius503 well yeah, it's because they know the myths well enough to have convinced DC their knowledge in the lore would reflect in their production and not some crazy left turn like turn batman in a quippy one liner spewing action hero. Where they knew what needed to be there and what to add and change for their story.

personally i dont think that being nice to john is wrong. in the first game its possible for harvey to never become two face (he still has a mental breakdown but hes not two face!) so i tried not to think of any character as who they have been in other iterations. I love John very much and so always tried to help him, was rooting for him not to become joker. as far as im concerned, i succeeded! i couldnt really SAVE him, but the joker never happenes, so being kind to him wasnt a waste. It changes the dynamic, yeah, but telltale batman feels like a very soft batman anyways, i tried my best and successfully made it a somewhat different world.

This video is fucking hysterical, and it's 100% because of the amazing edits. They're done expertly, they're not drawn out and obnoxious, and every addition you added to the video made it 10x better. The "Criticize WooHoo Techniques" especially got me lmfao, and you adding in the comic scene got a genuine cackle out of me. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I really appreciated the extra effort, because it definitely made the video so much better than it would have been normally!
