  • 🌟 Join us for the emotional finale of 'Planet of the Monkeys 3' in Chapter 4 - Rev-elations and Conclusions. 🎥 As our engines rev one last time, this chapter unfolds we re-evaluate life and pay homage to this fantastic adventure!
🏍️ Take one final ride with me on our Honda Monkey across the scenic Isle of Man, where every turn has brought us closer and every mile has told a story. This episode is a montage of those unforgettable journeys, a celebration of the bonds forged and the landscapes that took our breath away.
💡 Amidst the rush of the wind and the roar of the engines, we discover a profound truth - that the real journey lies in the moments shared, the laughter, and the tears. 🌍
    🔔 Subscribe and share in the emotion, as we throttle down memory lane, celebrating the end of a chapter but not the spirit of the ride. Stay tuned for more, because every end is a new beginning. 🛣️ #Rev-elations #PlanetoftheMonkeys #HondaMonkeyAdventure #motorcycleadventure #adventure #motorcycle #hondamonkey #honda #ridewithme #isleofman #hondamonkey125 #grom #hondagrom #dax #dax125 #hondadax #monkey125 #life #adventureawaits #isleofmantt #ttrace #journey #explore #exploration #livelife #planetofthemonkeys3 #dji #djimini4pro #insta360x3 #insta360 #instaoners

Totally relate health wise, knackered back since i was 16, did fitness over 35years, taught kickboxing allsorts, no drink, drugs and had heart attack at 49, had open heart surgery 2yrs ago, two new valves and some kevlar in my heart, the meds i was on triggered type 2 diabetes, loads of other health problems, lost 1.5st since Xmas, reversed my diabetes, came of heart meds etc, declared not fit for work still so my monkey is my lifeline to last bit of enjoyment.

Sounds quite horrific that back issue.
I’m 67 so getting close to that target figure . Didn’t take to 2 wheel ownership until retiring at 60 (though I passed my test a few years earlier) so got to make most of it while I can!

@@conniewaite1371 go out there and have an amazing time! Honestly you don’t have to wait for anybody. I go on loads of solo adventures but only recently started TH-cam so there’s no record on here. Once you go on one adventure by yourself you’ll realise it’s not so scary, learn to enjoy your own company. Book a camp site so you know your safe then slowly start branching out! You got this 👌🏻🏕️

I’d love to come back this year but I can’t I hate to say. Personally I’ve always been a lover of watching it on TV but after falling in love with the island I’m making plans to come for the 2025 TT!

I also think you need to do some research about the effect that ‘performance’ add ons will have on your Monkey bike. No aftermarket bits you buy off the shelf will make any significant positive difference. If your insurance agent wanted to hike your premium because of a slip on silencer that will have had more to do with what that says about you the rider than the bikes performance. Honda aren’t stupid, they make efficient motorcycles straight out of the box, the differences that a different air box and silencer would make would be minimal at most and could actually harm both the performance at worst. You’re new to motorcycling and you see to have fallen for a lot of the urban myths that surround them. In this programme alone you’ve covered buying more expensive fuel that offers no performance advantage at all and after market parts that are more about looks and individuality than anything else. If my insurance company tried to increase my premiums because I’ve upgraded the standard suspension unit they would lose a customer, why should I be penalised for making my motorcycle safer to ride?

Aye up lad, really appreciate you taking the time to comment. However I think you need to do a bit of research as well. Check out the below video by the lads at @smallboreandmore. They’re doing some cracking work on these bikes and actually they put the stock monkey on a dyno and modelled its performance and it had discrepancies and wasn’t working as well as it could. Honda have made these bikes affordable and that has meant putting basic (basic doesn’t mean bad, they’re still quality parts) on these bikes. I’m not one to get into deep debates on stuff but I see things like the video in the link below and that’s where I get these ideas. 🙏🏼

@@Topboy_Jonny As I said you’ve been taken in. Never mind experience will help. If you really want to ride at 80mph don’t buy high octane fuel buy a bike that’s up to it. A Monkey is a charming little bike but at the end of the day it is what it is.

    • @Topboy_Jonny

@@davidmatthews3093 the proof is right there in that link… I’ve been taken in by nothing but I appreciate your opinions. It’s never been about getting to 80mph, however pushing small bikes to their limits and being amazed at how they keep surprising you is part of the fun 🍌🏍️💨🙏🏼
