That’s some awesome feedback! I love that you put the training aspect in the beginning. It can be quite discouraging to those that fall a few times on their first ride but getting through it opens a world of adventure and joy. You happened to talk about great places I am not incredibly far from. Much appreciated.
The Smokey Mountain 500 is a treat for sure. We went several years ago and got snowed on! I'd like to re-visit that trail as we didn't have enough time to finish but have found it is so hard to ride places after doing the entire Continental Divide. Nothing like it. Highly recommend!
You're right about the SM500, it's a fantastic mix of amazing riding! I'd love to see you ride the South Carolina Adventure Route, too! Thanks for the great content 😀
Do you ride solo or with a group? I just did Boston - Palm Beach, solo along the mountain route, but I stayed (mostly) on the twisty mountain roads (Calimoto route). Have hammock, will travel!
Thanks and you're welcome 👍 There have been a few times that I've brought along a 1 gallon rotopax and it helped me out a handful of times. However, for the most part I haven't needed it. It does look like I'll need it for the NMBDR when I do that.
An adventure motorcycle ride is when you get on a powerful machine, take it off road, and mess up some of the earth that we humans haven't destroyed yet. Ford streams and silt it up, killing aquatic life. Kick up dirt and cause incredible erosion. Make lots of noise in pristine wilderness. Make any wildlife who are left flee. FUN, FUN, FUN!!

EPIC video! Huge help to us SouthEastern riders!
You really got it right. Those are all the places I ride the most living in Tennessee. BMW GS too, R1250 GSA.
I'm relocating to Milledgeville, GA near Macon soon! So glad to come across this! Thanks for the tips!
Good stuff! Hopefully will be able to start adventure riding soon. Until then, the old FJR will have to do. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome! Found some roads so close I need to ride. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome. Enjoy the ride.
Nice mix of roads and scenery . Thx.

We miss your vid's hope you come back soon!
Excellent video my friend. I’m making a list now.
Thanks Colin. I'm looking forward to see more of your adventures!
Man we were on a roll with numerous videos but I guess that can be expected for the winter time riding blues....
Excellent! Well done!
Thanks 🙏 much appreciated
Very nice. Thanks for the information. The F850 only has a 4 gallon tank. Do you carry extra fuel or is it not a problem on the East Coast?

Are you done with the channel?
Hope all is well.
