    Note: You'll probably want to remove the stake before attaching the steering stick to save this to your auto builds!

      Take it off the stake, then attach a dragon scale to it so that the auto-build updates to that.
      You can even use the dragon scale as a kickstand, to help the bike stay more upright even if you move the control stick to another location.

      If you want a kick stand with no additional weight, you can use a tumbleweed.

      Tumbleweed being flamable is a potential problem though, if you want to be able to use the build long-term, given that we only have 8 auto-build fav slots.

      @@MBrandr adding tumbleweed for a kick stand for quality of life is a good trade off for being flammable. Note that the wheel itself is made of wood. Adding 3 zonai ore to your autobuild is not a big deal

    You can make it more balanced by attaching stabilizer on one side of the wheel and steering stick on the other, while the wheel is centered

    Another trick: If you attach two objects with a wagon wheel between them, those two objects will rotate together, but separately from the wheel itself. This allows for some more compact and balanced creations.
    In this case, you could attach the small wheels to the front and back of the wagon wheel as usual, but then put the stabiliser to the right of the wheel and the steering stick to the left. You'd need an additional kickstand for this particular build, but it's a good option to know about.

      Mirrors work quite aesthetically well for a kickstand, put 'em on both sides of one or both of the wheels

      I tried it before I read this comment, because I had the same idea. Unfortunately it didn't work that well for me. So I wanted to look up bike build compilations, that's how I got here. Now I read this comment and have to restart that process again.

      Just use a light dragon scale as a kickstand, increases despawn radius at the same time.

    the stabilizer keeps your vehicle straight like a board, which means the wheels stuck when driving upwards.
    this is the reason why you need either this little wheel or any kind of suspension like a cooking pot or springs.

    You can use one of the zonai pots as well, as long as you have the wheels on the bottom part of the pot, and the stabalizer on the top.

    If you attach the steering stick at a slight angle on the other side of the small wheel, you'll probably be able to control it even if it's toppled on the side.

    Its subtle but what makes this work so well is that your keeping the steering stick level attaching it to the stabilizer. When you move the steering stick to the front You lose the best function.
    Similar tech connection cooking pot, steering stick and stabilizer to each other. Unshakable.

    for those like me who want a visual flair: steering wheel attached to the front of the stabilizer, another wheel and same setup on the other side.
    4 wheel drive, can manauver pretty good, looks nice and is easier to get on due to the wheel only falling forwards instead of on the side.

    You can attach pieces of amber to the sides of the wheels to make a kickstand

      This is a good tip if you don’t care about zonite cost but this will add an extra 3. I think the point of using the steering stick as the kick stand is that you would have to use one anyway

    You can make kick stands by putting amber or something on the sides of the wheels.

    you can try to rotate the wheels to 45 angle so it can hike some hills, i have similar bike. also u can attach a fan to further improve the power to hike, but that would drain battery super fast

      Upgrade your energy well, and get the Zonai set. It will greatly reduce your battery drain.

    before this: hover bike with wheels and laser construct head, add more fans and a shock emitter Infront, add a ice emitter to,if you want, add a hydrant, idk if it will work but i have not enough materials

    pro tip put the steering stick on top of the stabilizer and take a mirror and put it where the steering stick wa the legs on the mirror works as a kickstand

    If you attach two small wheels on top of the other small wheels then if it flips upside down then you can still drive

    It's cheaper to just use one wheel and stick the stabilizer to one side and the control stick to the other. If you want it to be easier to get on, just put one amber or similar in an angle as a stand.

    Hey, a couple days ago I saw that you can use the cooking pots to avoid being stiff and it helps it climb steep hills, I was wondering if you could experiment with that, since I can’t play the game lately.

    There's an easy fix for it tilting to one side, just add two more directional wheels to it and build a Quad bike.

    I just binned the stabiliser and made a trike with 3 small wheels and a control stick. Can climb hills without issue :D

    Is there any way to build this with big wheels instead of small wheels? I'm trying to build a bike with big wheels for speed as well as being better on hills, but I've not been able to find a bike build with big wheels.

      I saw a recent video where someone used the electrical motors of a shrine instead of wagon wheels to get a fireproof vehicle.
      A vehicle that can climb up walls and even drive on the ceiling, no less.

    Put the control stick on the small wheel exactly where you have the wooden wheel.
    Put the stabilizer directly onto the small wheel.
    It will fall.
    Stand at the control stick. Hit the contraption it to activate. Mash A to jump on quick before it rolls away.
    And there you have a 3 piece unicycle that can do what this bike does. As long as attach the control stick to the top edge of the wheel.
    Then you can even add a cannon to the stabilizer for extra fun as you drive around.

    It feels like it should be possible for Nintendo to encode builds as QR codes or data strings so they can be shared... hopefully we'll get that functionality in dlc?

      How would you scan the QR code with your Switch? I think a string of characters or numbers would work fine, like Mario Maker level codes.

      @@Mightylcanis It would be a Nintendo online app feature, so smartphone. The qr code would just be for easy sharing, you'd have an in game "import" ability that you'd use, then scan the code with your phone in app, and it would go through. You could alternatively manually type in string codes for the same thing, so having both would be good for those who have no smartphone.

    the problem with this game is, the classic hoverbike is just too good. anything more than 3 parts is just inefficient. The game really needs to give us way more zonaite... grinding is a bitch

    Using the Stake like that is dumb cus it won't save to your Autobuild without it!
    Useless build without a way to affix the final part without the Stake

      The trick when using stakes is to remove the stake before attaching the last piece on whatever you're building so it gets saved on your autobuild properly. Simple as that, mate

    The best motorcycle build is to turn off totk, load botw and get on your real motorcycle
