I like it! Also cool how when using it as a boat, the fans consume less energy. You can see the battery consumption go up when you pull up out of the water around the five minute mark.
The standard hoverbike works perfectly for everything, but the speed this six fan ultimate version gives you is very appealing. As for recharging the battery, Recall was what I used most. Just drop for a half-second, Recall yourself back up, drop again and repeat until you're full.
Real Tears of the Kingdom pros use the right leg depo rail to make a 1-fan hoverbike. The version where the rail is applied vertically on the back has some pretty good handling. Of course, this all depends on what your view is on glitches. You need to glitch out the game in order to get the right-leg depo rail in the first place. But, most people who do TotK aircraft design consider that rail to be an absolutely essential design piece in any decent build. Another popular option is the rail bi-plain, which sandwiches 8 rails in a giant grill pattern then builds a bi-plain on top of that, and a cage to contain 2 un-attached fans. Yes, it is important that the fans be un-attached in the bi-plain design. That... does kinda make it harder to make with auto-build.
Crazy design and looks pretty cool! I prefer a trike configuration myself. 2 fans rear one forward just like the hoverbike. This gives you a space and stability for a wayward Korok to transport to their friend by attaching them between the rear fans. Still plenty of power, good efficiency, and good speed while being small enough to land on small ledges without it rolling away as you hunt Korok seeds. For traversal only I think I would prefer your design though!
I had my glasses off so in the intro I thought link was huge as hell while infront of some large as bridge and mini apartment looking structures till the camera paned a little more and I realized “oh it’s the flower bed”
Great question. I feel like when you pull back, you go up really fast as you can see in the video. I haven't tried going to that specific island, if you build this and test that let me know.
I'm literally about to try this. I'm about 350 hours in, and I hardly use vehicles. Not a big fan of the "hover bike". Assuming it flies straight without intervention, it's going to be my new mode of transportation.
No thank you. I'll stick with my Klingon bird of prey. I've had a video out about that a long time ago and it's still what I consider to be the perfect flying machine. On my video I show a series of tests that I put all my flying machines through. The one that you made will not pass all of my tests. Nice video though. The two machines that pass all of my tests I called the Klingon Bird of Prey, and the Romulan Scorpion. I have videos for both.
I watched these, excellent design! I'd say you have me beat on several factors like manuverability, landing on a dime and part count. Thanks for sharing!
Finally… Someone makes a video that doesn’t involve the hover bike.
I got super frustrated with the wings and balloons disappearing on me. Then I figured out making a drone gets around that!
Yeah, I don't understand why they couldn't at least double the wing duration. I can almost never get where I intend to with that.
lmao the bit where you charged while bokoblins got ready to attack only to skidaddle right after
I was not expecting any of that, so glad it was captured!

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that!

That is fancy, never tried it!
A steering stick, 4 fans, 2 lights, 2 construct heads, 1 stake, 2 to 4 cannons/beam emitters
A sled, three fans, a steering stick and a light, a little bit slow, and slightly power consuming, but quite versatile

Mate is pulling some Ace Combat moves here
This literally made me laugh out loud, thank you!
Awesome !
I use the Hover bike even though I personally dislike it. This is an amazing replacement. Thank you sir.
I'm so glad to hear it!! Thanks so much for checking out the video!

Well in my other video I updated this build, still no rail but I think you'll find it far superior to this design.
I use 3 fans, 1 light and a steering stick.
The light enables the machine to be put together quickly and perfectly without any guesswork at all.
Also loved your Assault Vehicle!
Nothing can beat the hoverbike.
You should check out my other video 😉

Interesting, that seems practical. This one does tend to roll away a bit on landing if you aren't careful.
I had my glasses off so in the intro I thought link was huge as hell while infront of some large as bridge and mini apartment looking structures till the camera paned a little more and I realized “oh it’s the flower bed”
Oh wow, I see it now! Hilarious 😂
This deserves a sub
Sorry, you can't make underwater vehicles in TOTK ;)
very good video 👍
Thanks so much!
I think the hover bike is still my favorite 🎉
stereotypical and lazy
I like the horses... but my batteries are not good yet
No rush! The horses are lots of fun too 😀
Can that thing be armed?
Does this flying machine have good lift? Can it get you high in the sky so you can get to the star-shaped island above Lookout Landing?
Great question. I feel like when you pull back, you go up really fast as you can see in the video. I haven't tried going to that specific island, if you build this and test that let me know.
Has anyone noticed that he made it seem like a ad 😂
🤣
Would a sled work too?
I noticed it was a bit heavier with a sled, but it would probably work better for landing in the snow or sand.

It definitely does! Really nice for cruising around. It feels like a totally different way to explore and play.

1.5K views, but only 63 likes & 8 comments? Something's not right with this picture... Nice build though.
You got me, I watched it 1,400 times :D
buut the batery..
Gotta get that zonaite!
@@LetsPete wah :
Yup. The batteries should be taken into account.
