I also hate it when he says "It only costs 63 zonaite." Like, that's the 21 item limit. The only way it can cost more is if you include big batteries in the build.

@@sleepingkirbybig batteries aren't the only thing that cost more than 3 zonaite. The giant hoverstones on sky islands cost 100
7:03 - I actually did something similar. I spawned a cannon to clear a massive wall of rock and decided I’d throw it ahead of me, thinking it would just stay where it landed and continue shooting.
That was the day I found out that Newton’s 3rd Law was still a thing, even in TotK.
I did the same. I laughed more at my own stupidity and agreed that I deserved that. Then I tried again with some safeguards in place. I forgot to set up the safeguards, so..... >_>

I love how instead of Lynels' ability to disintegrate (most) machines leading us, as intended, to just not build machines as a means of fighting them, it instead led us to developing incredibly simple, elegant machines that cheese them with zero moving parts.
The no health thing is Knights weapons do massive damage when link is at low health

@@bennetsheckells6741 It is a 1.8x additional damage when at one heart and using a Knight Weapon. (Just like zora weapon when wet or Royal when the weapon is flashing as about to break)
@@nemarikthorne9345 knight weapons double the damage. The weapon stat directly gets doubled.
Knights weapon, low health, radiant armor for bone weapon proficiency, molduga jaw fused to the weapon, and 3 attack food buff...... probably the highest damage possible in the game lol
couple this mechanic with the rupee padding and it's kinda OP if you're rich lmao. You can tank anything and just wack-em-all.
These builds always make me wish we had a steam workshop style blueprint sharing ability in this game.
Yo, saaaaame. I'd love to just rapidly port that one punch car into my game. I'm not as logically-minded as some of the absolute ballers who play this, so it'd help out a ton.

Bet that anti-Lynel ramp could be effective with Gleeoks as well, bullet time is so OP
don't even need the ramp, just fuse a glider to a shield and shield jump, the extra airtime ya get is plenty enough to activate bullet time

I doubt the Ramp would work well. Gleeoks can despawn Construct Builds with the Windblasts from their Wings, so a Ramp placed close enough to get good item-unassisted shots on their Heads would need to be replaced after every cycle of Damage.
And you'd still need another means to reach them if you allow them to take to the Skies at low Health...
That rock, Lynel clip felt like something straight out of an anime!

Each time I saw the “One Punch” build in action all I could think of was….. FALLLLLLCCCCOOOO PAAAAWWWNNNNCCCHHH!!!
Now see, I was thinking more along the lines of a yellow suited bald guy in a white cape that's just a super hero for fun, but is suffering from depression because he wanted a good fight but beats everyone in just "one punch."

That one punch pickup looks like it was inspired by a vehicle in Blast Corps.
I miss fighting guardians, would love to see them make their way into TOTK in a DLC or something

... it's not possible for there to be a hoverstone, construct head, and 20 beam emitters to be connected. Max build limit is 21.
It's 5 columns of 3 beam emitters in the video, so 20 items total. Not sure why he said 20 beam emitters. I may try this.

I thought the limit was 20? When I watched people build (I can't waste what little I have to test yet), they could only do 20 before the oldest pieces detached.
@@ElysetheEevee the total limit is 21 pieces attached to each other, another way to read that is that you can have a total of 20 items attached to the first piece you place down, so 21

1:56 That happened to me when I was trying to find axe-head shaped rocks for kick stands for the motorcycle I was making in TOTK.

That one punch Pickup is amazing
The anti-lynel laser platform I use is similar to the one you showed, but with a shield at an \ angle to protect against arrows, and cannons to handle armor.

The one pinch pickup is top tier for sure that batter energy refill is clutch for sure
8:26 for the colosseum there are also two sets of stairs visible at this time stamp. That also can offer easy bullet time.
Tried that….did you know that lynel-shot arrows go through solid concrete?? Was just trying to fuse some weapons from the last Lynel, sheesh
@@3100620842considering how strong lynels are, that sounds pretty realistic. I could see an arrow going that fast plowing straight through a concrete wall.

We're usually on our way to stay at a stable so we don't use our food but we get sidetracked doing things like building guardian stalkers.
This one is definitely the fastest laugh I've had with this game. Can't in totk hahahahaha
You know what would be amazing?
Having the ability to individualy activate weapon-emitters instead of all at once.
I'm imagining a rotating barrel of several bomb-emitters and them firing one after another, like a giant gatling-gun...like a continuous spam of bombs
If you throw an item at a npc that gets scared from something, the item dissapears

I gotta experiment with radial wheel designs- that guardian tank seemed to go straight and have tank steering at the same time!

Funny, I made a very similar turret in order to kill the colosseum lynals, guess it's just the best way to do it.
I will say, the turret is more likely to kill ya then the lynal

The reason people are walking around with very little health is some weapons get buffed when you're down to one heart.

The car might be at object limit already. Plus, it's already stronk af. Cool idea for a different build, tho.
I build a laser turret to kill those Lionels too, but I just used a stake rather than a hove stick, the wall is right there o.o

For spinning devices, I find it easier to use electric motors as they spin faster than big wheels

the big rubber board should be at one of the shrines that had the balls that would also float on water (I’m pretty sure that’s what it is)

The Rubber board is from the Jonsau Shrine. It's more bouyant than wood, more durable than stone, and non-flammable.
One Punch Pickup reminds me of the round bionicles
I'mma keep asking it, cause I can't figure it out myself. How do you put the small wheels and other items together to allow the wheels to turn the items, without them flying off or breaking the Ultrahand glue?

4:43 I spent an unreasonable amount of time in the game at 1 heart just for the Desperate Strength bonus on weapons, personally

7:50 Captain Pancakes wasnt able to kill the red lynel mounting it once - this is probably because their sword didnt have 1 durability, maybe 2 or 3. Using a royal guards claymore with a molduga jaw at 1 durability, atk up 3 food, and 3pc evil spirit armor I can kill silver lynels in one mount.
3:40 instead of flame emitters it would be interesting to see what would happen if a beam emitter was attached instead
It's been shown the do more damage while moving since it registers as multiple hits
So if they were attached to a propeller pointing one direction moving super fast it may provide a good damage boost to the beam emitter while also knocking down enemies with the wind generated by the propeller.
sadly it's actually been shown that moving the laser does NOT register multiple hits, each enemy that gets hit has about a 1 second window before they can be hit from the same source again. however turning it off and on again DOES make it count as a new beam and thus reset the counter (either that or the beam itself is the one keeping count and turning it off just terminates the count)

Honestly the last one should be build of the day. I like yhe fan shield way of bullet timing but ive found it a little tricky to do on the fly and very punishing if mis inputted. I actually didnt know you could build something like that in there and not have the lynels roar it down. Like i one cycle lynels w my molduga pristine royal g claymore anyway but hate burning through bow durability unnecessarily 😂
