Tstan I didn’t. From the sounds of it, it sounds like you get some pretty rock solid benefits from doing that, but since I’ve never done it I can’t speak from experience. Oh I sold it for about $7k. I could have probably gone higher, but i beat the 💩 outta the body and it didn’t seem very fair of me to do that. Hope you’ve been liking it👍

The lly also had a restrictive turbo mouth piece. One of my really good friend changed out his mouthpiece with a s&b and it helped with the over heating issue and let the turbo breath. I own an LBZ GMC with 328,000 and it still puts me back in my seat and I plan on keeping it until even when the motor blows and put a new one in it.

Bought mine in 2017. Watched car adds daily. Mine came on the market at a dealer. Drove to the dealer took one look at the truck and said I’ll take it. Salesman informed me it’s a good thing I did because someone else was on their way to purchase and other customer was on the phone wanting to make the purchase. Never regretted my purchase. Have used mine to pull my 12k lbs work trucks out of the mud....saved on towing cost. At 250k looking forward to 500k.

If that’s not an option then you’ll need shocks, u bolts, sway bar end links, stock knuckles, and the weld in cross member which can be found at a junkyard or NorCal trucks website. I spent about a grand on quality parts to be lowered.

Loved the video and can't wait to see the build. But you know what I haven't seen? A Powerstroke What's the Hype. And specifically a certain engine made from 94-2003, slow as a bull, pulls like a workhorse, overpriced on the marketplace, and last but not least... Reliable. lol

I've probably watched this video like a dozen times lol. I have a 06 crew cab with about 205k miles. I bought it from a friend/mechanic and it was originally a work truck that was fleet maintained. It has new injectors, egr delete, professionally tuned computer and a few other goodies but I always had problem with the y bridge. So I got the hsp ybridge kit and cant wait til my beast is back in action lol.

Bought a 2007 2500 CC with 91K miles back in 2021. Leather, heated seats, DVD player, the works. First diesel I ever owned, loved that truck. Someone decided they wanted it more than me and stole it Sept 2022. Found another LBZ, this time an 06, 3500 CCLB. Same color, same features but add sunroof/delete DVD, with 101K miles. Connect my loaded up utility trailer with my 4 wheeler and drive through the mountains of Utah and dont even know the trailer is there.

Bought brand new in 06. Best truck I’ve ever driven and the most powerful stock truck I’ve ever been in…. Very reliable trucks, comfortable, haul a 17k trailer around like it’s absolutely nothing, and has plenty of power to put the smack down to most kids cars or other trucks on the road…. Definitely one of the best Duramax motors ever produced, with the L5P leading 1st due to how much of absolute monster they are, especially tuned and deleted…

@beronib888 mine is lifted 6 inches and has 35 inch tires. It rides like James said pretty much till you put some heavy weight in it. I just got used to it. I'm sure you could spend a bunch and get it softer but I'm not sure what that would do to the way it tows
