That terracing looks like an outdoor theatre. North Lincolnshire is lovely. I’ve been there today to visit a friend in Owston Ferry.

Great vid, my friends girlfriends family used to live in the hall during the 90’s, miss hope-Barton still lived in one wing and rented the other side out to the family I knew.

Apparently Fairy's Field was named for Fairy the horse who lived in it for many years. My grandparents lived in the cottage next to Fairy's Field, then moved into no 2 Fairy's Field.

I've been trying to figure out where I know Saxby from, after a bit of research on Google maps I realised as a child we used to visit friends at nearby Worlaby every Christmas and sometimes during the summer holidays too. To get there we used to go via Maltby and Bawtry (the scenic route 😂 even though we lived at Hellaby near the M18 😂)

Ahh give it a couple weeks, Worlaby will have its turn :D

@@TheVillageIdiot If I remember rightly they lived on The Hill at Worlaby, nice little village and I'm sure we visited Saxby during the summer which is probably why it rang a bell.

It's strange how even though it's in Lincolnshire the Brigg area has Doncaster postcode.

Well, DN postcode area. Brigg postcode, seeing as Brigg is its own post town

@@TheVillageIdiot yeah that's what I meant, it uses the Doncaster DN postcode prefix
