- This client had their entire arm blacked out, from top of shoulder to finger tips. Over the two years we've been working on just the fingers and achieved about 80% fading, the client decided to have us start working on the entire sleeve. The goal will be full removal on the hands and continue with the progress on the fingers, and to fade enough of the arm from wrist to shoulder so new tattoos will be able to cover it.
To achieve better fading, and to aid in the comfort of the client, this whole process is broken up into smaller, more manageable sections. In this treatment we're just working on the hand and wrist.
The white "frosting" that appears immediately after the the laser is water vapor, a byproduct of the laser tattoo removal treatment. Within 10 minutes, this fades and is not a burn or blister.
In the left hand is a hose that's connected to a cryo-chiller, a device that blows extremely cold air onto the skin before and during a treatment to help reduce any short-term swelling, a common side effect. It is not a vacuum.

I'm a tattoo artist and I can tell you, make sure the tattoo is what you really want because the laser removal is 10x more painful than a tattoo and really expensive. Be smart.

It happens cause the tattoo pigments break up into smaller pieces once hit with the laser, which for some reason causes this temporary effect. There's a pinned comment that explains it in more detail.

That’s the most effective machine I have seen for tattoo removal. Usually ink that dark needs the machine to go through several times. This one just looks like it needs one more time for the darkest areas.

I have had this done.
It hurts . Feels like someone has a rubberband on fire and is pulling back as far as it can go and letting it release on your skin.
The pain was so bad, the next time I went , he gave me shots around the tattoo to numb me and I got sick to my stomach then went to throw up and passed smooth out .

I had this done on my hands before. It basically feels like hot bacon grease popping on your skin over and over, then you hands swell up insane like lobster claws, then the tattoos come back in like half an hour and look almost the same, you have to have it done many times to make the ink actually go away. I ended up getting my tattoos fixed and got even more blasted then before! 🤣💯🙏❤️

Zeta Reticuli I had a solid black key 4 by 2 inches on my arm (raised ) tattoo and that was 450$ a session ...and I had Roman numerals on my ribs and that was 120$ a sessions (4 by one inch but not solid at all) and I only got numbing cream the first time. Because like I said the feeling it like tweezing hairs and not bad for me at all. And the rib tattoo was on my bone and wrapped around under my boob. (I was told sensitive area might hurt more but it did not)

But I have a skin color shape of where the key was on my arm (I think maybe it doesn’t tan as much there) but you would have to know to look for it and look close and it’s no longer raised at all. I’m very happy. The numbers on my ribs have no trace once so ever

CyMations usually people do this to cover up previous mistakes, often gang related tattoos, to signify they left the life. That’s what this guy probably did, before he wanted to commit to the more expensive and time consuming laser tattoo removal.
