I really wanted a tattoo when I was 22 because all my friends were getting one, I never got one. Lot's of my peers are now paying for lazer removals. My parents on the other hand got tattoos and piercings well into their 60s and are loving them! I suppose it's because they've lived long enough to know what they want. Don't EVER do something just because other people are doing it.
In addition to possibly causing problems with employment, your hands get a lot of sun exposure and that fades tattoos. Get them somewhere you can protect them from the environment and they'll stay looking good a lot longer.

I got my first tattoo 3 weeks ago. My uncles name, his birth and death. Lost him to suicide. So i went back into the shop because I want a second tattoo (i'm addicted now) and I saw my tattoo artist there and I was surprised he remembered who I was and he said that the tattoo I got was one of his best/favourite scripts and said that he's super proud of himself. Not sure if it's BS and he's trying to make me feel good, but I genuinely felt proud and happy after hearing that.

People will say the customer is always right to a tattoo artist or any artist of kind. Theres a difference between a client and a customer. A customer is when you go to a restaurant or coffee shop or walmart, and a client is when a person chooses to help you in their industry, someone who agrees to work for you, just because you're willing to give them money for something doesnt mean they have to agree to do it. Same with agents for acting, business, insurance and so on
still customers in the eyes of the law and still has to follow all the laws like any other business. so yea you can still federally sue them if they refuse the work based on protected area.
I think as long as its not discriminatory then anyone can allow service. If it makes a tattoo artist or any business uncomfortable, then dont force them to. Friend of mine had a client who wanted the word “c*nt” on his forehead. He came back week after week, kept asking for the same thing, absolutely insistent. In the end she took a permanent marker and wrote it on his forehead. She told him to keep it on for a week and if he still wanted it after that, she’d do the tattoo. Never saw him again! 😂
Personal policy for when I get tattoos: I always listen to what my tattoo artist has to say regarding what I ask. At one point I thought about getting a white ink tattoo and my tattoo artist told me straight that although it would look awesome after completion, it would more than likely fade considerably after healing. Tattoos are investments too so I understood his reasoning and I thanked him for his honesty. I didn't get a white ink tattoo after having that consultation with him. Always always listen to your tattoo artist.

For healing inner butt cheek area tattoos, they should definitely use bidet or a squirt bottle to clean the area after pooping, and wipe as little as possible (poop spreads). Then make sure tattoo stays bandaged using ones that are square/rectangular and has glue on all sides to seal area, and stick one on the left and one on the right half, and make sure they are changing bandages and cleaning/moisturising the area every morning. Don’t ask how I know, and no, it’s not me that has one

A customer is when you go to a restaurant or coffee shop or walmart, and a client is when a person chooses to help you in their industry, someone who agrees to work for you, just because you're willing to give them money for something doesnt mean they have to agree to do it. Same with agents for acting, business, insurance and so on

I think as long as its not discriminatory then anyone can allow service. If it makes a tattoo artist or any business uncomfortable, then dont force them to. If a tattoo artist, someone who is doing something permanent to your body, doesnt want to give you a tattoo, by their best interest, you should be respectful and not make them tattoo it. You never want to make a tattoo artist angry. This has nothing to do with a bakery. But I'd assume if any gay people wanted a cake and they didnt want to serve you, then go somewhere else where someone is happy to have your business.

Friend of mine had a client who wanted the word “c*nt” on his forehead. He came back week after week, kept asking for the same thing, absolutely insistent. In the end she took a permanent marker and wrote it on his forehead. She told him to keep it on for a week and if he still wanted it after that, she’d do the tattoo. Never saw him again! 😂
Personal policy for when I get tattoos: I always listen to what my tattoo artist has to say regarding what I ask. At one point I thought about getting a white ink tattoo and my tattoo artist told me straight that although it would look awesome after completion, it would more than likely fade considerably after healing. Tattoos are investments too so I understood his reasoning and I thanked him for his honesty. I didn't get a white ink tattoo after having that consultation with him. Always always listen to your tattoo artist.

Consent is always the main priority in the community and you don't drag someone else into something they may not be comfortable with, especially people not involved in the community. I will be getting a tattoo at the request of my Master, but it is something only me and him understand. That way the tattoo artist isn't uncomfortable and quite frankly it isn't any of their business anyways. With how looked down upon the BDSM community is, why would I want a random stranger knowing my business? But it is also respectful to the artist. For healing inner butt cheek area tattoos, they should definitely use bidet or a squirt bottle to clean the area after pooping, and wipe as little as possible (poop spreads). Then make sure tattoo stays bandaged using ones that are square/rectangular and has glue on all sides to seal area, and stick one on the left and one on the right half, and make sure they are changing bandages and cleaning/moisturising the area every morning. Don’t ask how I know, and no, it’s not me that has one

Lovey Chann I can’t remember what seasons it was, but there was a contestant on Ink masters that didn’t have tattoos and they basically told him that if he didn’t get a tattoo then he’ll never win because no one will want a tattoo done by somebody that doesn’t have any.
The first time I got tattooed, I ate a shit ton of mushrooms and Drew this crazy one eye cow in front of a pyramid. My friend (the tattooers) also ate a shit ton of mushrooms, and tattooed the cow to large so the pyramid didn't fit. And to this day I look at it.
And God how I love it.
