any book recommendations for a young book reader but not too young? ( preferred romance)

Hmmm, that's a good question. I don't read a lot of romance targeted to younger audiences, or romance in general. I'll just rattle off a few YA authors I like who write books with romance as a pretty heavy focus. I really like Nicola Yoon, who wrote The Sun is Also a Star, and Everything Everything, both of which I mentioned in this video. I also remember really enjoying Simon Versus the Homo Sapiens' Agenda. I'm in love with Alice Oseman and the Heartstopper series if you're into graphic novels. Adam Silvera also has a spot in my heart. Everyone always talks about his book They Both Die at the End, but I remember really liking his other books as well. Oh, and John Green is always good for a romantic subplot.
