Hultafors swedish/swiss steel is amazing. I got a 7 dollar carbon steel work knife from them when working in Norway, heavily used and abused it but it held up so well it is now a part of my fishing kit, never had a knife hold an edge like that. I have been meaning to buy another 1 for work, could not reccomend the stuff enough

Definitely keen to buy one of those double sided Japanese carpenters saws, maybe a few other tools too, but if you want a REAL axe you need to buy a Tuatahi work axe, hand forged here in NZ, hard to justify five big one on an axe but they are a thing of beauty and devastation.

We use the Silky Saw products in arboriculture in NZ. The qaulity is outstanding. They have market dominance here. But Im sure there is other good stuff.
They impulse harden the tooth edges and whatever steel they use, its super tough. We typically get paid per tree. And can use a hand saw most days, dozens or perhaps hundreds of cuts some days. And get 3 months out of a saw. We call them silent chainsaws.
If purchasing be aware of the huge variance in tooth design.

Does he sell any American made tools ?where does he get the tools he sells? Does he sell them for more then your local hardware store ?

The tools he sells can not be found in local hardware stores. Mitre10, Place Makers etc sell garbage because that is their business. They want people to come back as the tools are so bad that they constantly break and if you find something descent the service you get is rubbish !
