yes i solved it. Google also had the Idm download extension. When I disabled the extension, I downloaded it normally and the problem was solved.

What a great tip. Solidworks tool box gave me heart burn on finding what I wanted. I was able to find what I needed, in the spec I had designed, without the effort to draw another part.
I am new to grabing others design parts to use. I often wonder how to acknowledge that its someone elses work I am incorporating. Please advise to avoid the "plagerism" stigma in final drawings.
