Instead of using mouse gestures, I have added keyboard shortcuts to SolidWorks, which has significantly improved my efficiency. Thank you for the video!
I am right there with you I like using the shortcut keys as well. I think its because the 1st CAD softwares I used were Autodesk products. Definite gonna try to use the mouse gestures though to see I can up my speed alittle
Because of those features i moved on to Alias. It's pure madness and once you master those hot wheels you can literally work with your eyes closed. I used them not so often in SW because of the complexity of my projects and due to weak laptop it would always lag and freeze that i would have to wait for couple of seconds to get out or enter a sketching mode and so on. But great video, great skills and i wish you all the best in the new year!
I mean... I get what you're saying. But I haven't met an engineer that can go full steam ahead like this all the time. Every engineer I know spends hours looking at the model and thinking of what/how to do. So in my opinion knowing some shortcuts isn't what makes you a fast designer, it's having enough experience to know exactly what you want to do and being able to put it into CAD.
You’re right, I’m not modelling like this at all times myself . I when I’m Modeling something from scratch, sometimesi rotate it for days and tweak it here and there. Those are the thinking, evaluation and validation time. It’s not the point. The point is to be the fastest when you go full on execution mode. You know? In between validation modes
A lot of my time in solidworks, I know what I'm doing, and trying to repeat the same procedures over and over is just annoying. This is a perfect way to eliminate that frustration. Anything that doesn't leave me repeatedly navigating the toolbars for simple, repetitive actions is welcome. I'll still have to do my pondering the slow way, but the figuring things out part isn't what's annoying.
Perfect, I tried to learn, Catia, Creo, inventor and SOLIDWORKS in TH-cam, honestly I can say there is not any teacher better than you. Especially when I compared to Indian clips. Good luck
I've been watching your videos for a while. Could you please create a tutorial or practice class on the CSWA exam? If you do, I would be very grateful if it were free. Thank You
Hey Aryan! I hope you're doing well! I'm a loyal viewer of your content and have gained so much from your SolidWorks tutorials. Your exercises have been instrumental in my learning, and I'm now using SolidWorks both at work and for various side projects. I would greatly appreciate it if you could create a detailed video on the MBD dimensions tab. While there are some online resources available, your expertise and professional insights would make a significant difference in our understanding and application of these concepts. Thank you for considering my request!,
Haven't been able to login since the Think-CAD login inception. Can't find any way to remedy this available. What is the path for me to take to get support?
It’s not the end of the world if you can’t but the answer is kinda yes. If you had 2022 I’d say you’re still good. Some useful features are added after 2022
There has been a lot of new features in the last four years. You can look up the whats new video’s/documentation posted by SOLIDWORKS (and probably also shared by your reseller) Or the easier method is contact your reseller so your accountmanager can briefly tell what can be interesting for your organisation’s workflow
Dude, stop with those clickbite titles. It tells nothing about contents of the video so if I will try to find it later i won't search for "dO NoT uSE sOLiDWoRKs uNtiL YoU lEArN ThIS" but for something like "solidworks shortcuts tips/customization". Titling your videos like this makes your channel look trash and takes away from work you put into these videos.
Fair point, though if you search for mouse gestures for example, this video will still pop up due to the tags and the content. The TH-cam search has become very strong recently. But duly noted
@@bucklogos Yeah, but its not like he is showing games like million other people. There is no need for clickbait in category of solidworks tutorials. Being rather professional, to the point and not having a terrible accent makes him like the only creator on this platform that does them. I dont think he makes any difference with those titles and actually annoys me to the point of considering unsubscribing. Lets not make all of youtube terrible for the sake of "algorithm" and "youtube meta"
The hardest part I'm having learning SW is coming from all of the horrible habbits I have from 13 years of autocad🤦♂️ Your video's are helpful though!
@@with-aryan at first I used to create a sketch by sketch tool in mouse gesture south side Then I used to create a circle by circle command in mouse gesture north east side And I too use 8 gestures in mouse gesture
I was sceptical but as I watched till the end I could say that I not only learned some new things but I will gladly adopt your method. Great vid!!
Fantastic! Happy to hear that

WHY DOES YOUR CENTER RECTANGLE NOT HAVE THE DOTTED LINES ACCROSS THE DIAGONALS? MINE HAS DOTTED LINES ON THE DIAGONAL FOR SOME REASON IDK WHY.
I checked it off from the property manager on the left. I don’t need them
How does SW calculate a mass without a material assigned?
It assumes the density of water until set otherwise

Thank you! Oh god the MBD! I’m not a big fan but ok I’ll try
Which solid works version you are using, most of the options not showing in my version
If you’re using anything after around 2017 it should have it all
@with-Aryan 2018, but it always freezes and hangs too much

Hey aryan is it worth it to upgrade from solidworks 2021 to 2025 ?
Also you haven't posted any videos about the 2025 version !
great video BTW ❤

You can go even faster if you set up numeric input in your sketch option 😜

سلام داداش اموزشات واقعا عالیه ، کاش کانال زبنون فارسی رو داشتی
thanks. I started in English and I kept it up
Did the channel disappear for a few days or is it just me???
Yes it did! TH-cam removed me by mistake and killed all my views, momentum and appearance
i finished it (54.97)sec
Nice. I looked at it. Really, Nice job.
@@with-aryan but I practised it more than 25 times
Correct. Dont use solid works use NX

I work with a guy who to this day draws everything in autocad, then copies it into sketches in solidworks and auto-dimensions everything x_x
