It seems that you're a bit naive, since the Master System/Game Gear games were just not included here. I know that the hardware IS superior on the Genesis, but equally you have to include them, since (most of) those games actually include new starting levels not included anywhere else.

@@DarkLordChaos Rush is more canon than Boom will ever be. The Sonic Generations profile for Blaze states that she is a princess. Sure, Sonic isn't the most consistent franchise: they retconned classic Sonic in Forces(who was in Generations), but I'm pretty sure Blaze's first appearance is mainline.

@@gatogamer7DCP Most of it, but I did look at Sonic Wiki for clarification, and even discovered some other ones.
I forgot the Game.com version of Sonic Jam, which included versions of Sonic 2, 3, and Sonic & Knuckles that had unique levels due to how impossible it would be to port the actual games to such a severely limited handheld console. So yeah, those are missing as well.
Sonic unleashed was NEVER released on mobile.
@@siriusxakanscaleguy7147 Yeah it was. A 2D Sonic Unleashed was made for mobile way back in 2009. It's a rather primative mobile game compared to the ones of today, so you're not gonna find it on any current app stores. It was for old Nokia phones I believe.
Awww i miss the old sonic games..for me, i liked the sonic & knuckles 1994's graphics better compared to the early 2000's version 😅 especially the mushroom hill i loved the best 😊 the colours, the graphics, the game environment and the way the focus on sonic is not too close, it doesn't make my head spin compared to the early 2000's version 😅 that, sonic & knuckles 3 & spinball i liked the best 😊👍🏼
Another reason why i liked the older sonic games is because it has better looking maps/environments and felt more challenging than the newer 2D sonic games. I honestly think that they should do a remake of the old sonic games, with today's graphics like sonic mania (2017) 😊

Technically Sonic 3D Blast is a isometric/2.5D game thus it belongs on this list for not being true 3D. Also might as well make it 1991-2018 because there's no 2D sonic game in 2021 even mentioned and Mania DLC is the last official 2D sonic stuff we have gotten.
