The only time it was green hill on a beach was heroes, and there it had enough new elements to make up for it.
And do emerald coast and wave ocean look anything like green hill to you? Is it because there's a beach with some grass that makes it green hill? (but yeah, wave ocean is an emerald coast clone, and 3d blast, lost world, and forces are literally just green hill.)
Imagine, missing out some Sonic games that actually exist, like Generations, Black Knight, and Secret Rings.
Never noticed that Green Grove’s music gets re-used in Sonic Adventure for Windy Valley
Same for music of the intro of Sonic 3D Blast. Gets re used in Twinkle Circuit.

You Missed Sonic The Fighters which was the FIRST EVER 3D Sonic Game, Generations, Black Knight and Secret Rings. You guys need to pay attention to Sonic The Fighters a lot more. It doesn’t deserve any hate. The Game Is lot more amazing that it seems it if it was played more by haters.
