This feels like it should be playing over the credits to some badass, crowd-pleasing, full-of-explosions action flick. And I mean that in the very best way.
Technodreamer I agree, either a tongue in cheek Templar story, or a Layer Cake British cops & villains flick, even a SAS adventure with hilarious squadie humour, it's so expressive and evokes such a British sensibility.I love it.
I played the trumpet from age 10-19. I learned the trumpet solo from this song by ear and played it every day in between 1st period jazz band and 2nd period symphonic band.
Henry. There's always going to be people that have to complain or find fault about everything. The reality of it is that these are great musicians. Excellent intonation, phrasing and tuning. In my experience, if they (the complainers) could play at that level they wouldn't be complaining. C'mon people learn to give credit where credit is due. Great job guys!!!!!
It's not really complaining when, to different people, it sounds different. To me it seemed sluggish. That's not a criticism of individual talent, as much as I believe it was due to everyone hearing each other through head phones. I think it would have been better if they played without the head phones and heard each other "live." The drummer needs them because he needs to hear to adjust his volume himself, by how hard he hits each drum or cymbal. I think the engineer "took away" his expressionism by adjusting the levels on him too much.
I can listen to this all day. I'm actually a beginner trombone player and this peace is part of my listening list for brass playing. Well job done guys!
+Dylan Coolahan Hey Dylan, we actually have a couple recorded and filmed at the moment and are planning on doing some more next year. The trouble is the guy with all the sound has moved to LA and we can't get them off him! We're working on it :). Will keep you posted
This epic interpretation demonstrates how a very skillful band can be lifted by a very skillful bass player. No electric powered bass guitar here, "only" an E flat bass tuba powered by air stream, loungs, proper breathing, lips and chops - and some meters of pipes and tubing. In the right hands, the tuba is powerful enough to lift the entire band, to be the engine - the pushing and driving force. And this tuba player sure provides that. As a tuba player myself, I love what Mr. Ross Knight did here. Respect!
This song with the brass(especially the trumpets) and the set name like something something you would here in Spain, really gave it that Spanish trumpet vibe to it

@@michaelbridges943 how big do you think a euph is?!
Thumbs up for those who know this video is not about the song, arrangement, or muse.
But about the mad tuba skills and trumpet arpeggios.
Nobody seems to do, but we think of you, awesome Tuba player on air-compressor. Well done!

If I was with you in band I would always look forward to hearing it. One tubist also has his song he plays before and after practice
My God, the Tuba player was kicking ass! Good intonation, and articulation as well as sound overall.
The timbre of the instruments gives this a much more triumphant feel than the original. Not a bad thing, just different.
Im a trombone player who LOVES that song. when I saw that incredible trombone player playing the main part of the song I loved it
Lmao same :D

Nutella For Breakfast lol what?
Also with anything if you look for flaws you'll find them so the complainers aren't doing anything worthy of anyone's attention

I was really hoping that one of the trumpets would do a "come on Wembley!" at 4:13 :P
I feel you, mate.
I couldn't even sing this song without shouting "Come on Wembley!" at that part.
Gives me chills each time I listen to you guys
The reduced attack of everything in the last 2 minutes is GORGEOUS. So moody, so lovely. 😊
