this is one of many examples to prove that vivaldi is one of the best composers that ever existed
true
try the RV 390 that's a sublime work by him
@@paulmartinez594 it sounds amazing!
Il agree with you !
One of many examples of how to play baroque correctly
Those cello solos are very difficult at that tempo in the third part but - he played every note. Bravo!!
VIVALDI THE BEST
The ornamentation in the slow movement!
This is the best video version of the piece I have heard thus far. This is important to me because this piece is a favorite of mine by Vivaldi; especially the fugue portion in the first movement.
Congratulations to an excellent performance.
Bach loved Vivaldi enough to make arrangements of this and 5 other of his concertos.
Enrico Onofri the best . He plays violin and director
He's a wonderful conductor too.i adore him. So generous with emotions.one of the very best conductors ever.
I wondered what he got up to after Il Giardino...
The slow movement is absolutely stunning. Superb musicianship from the soloist.
Brings tears to my eyes. So alive, as if Vivaldi is still, too. Bravo and brava!
Wonderful playing with such lovely subtlety. The celloist is miraculous.
From the ends of rhr Earth, I have been watching him playing with GH and been astonished at his intellectual, inspiring violin playing. Now , with a new group of , thank you, young players, this man in Japan would be called a national living treasure. Oh, if only I could travel back to Italy to hear him ....may have to wait three months for all this Covid non sense to settle down . With appreciation from Australia.
It's hard to do better! the most extraordinary thing is to see these talented young musicians having fun. the Italian violinist is sublime. Vivaldi will always speak to young people, a undeniable proof of his eternal genius
Second mov, pure magic! Thank u for this video and ensemble! Enrico Onofri, that second mov. made me cry!
Vivaldi...Onofri...Extraordinarios conciertos.
Gracias por esta conmovedora e inefable música
Meraviglioso Enrico! Bravissimo.
Pura magia.
era quello che volevo scrivere io...grazie
0:00 1st movement
4:11 2nd movement
6:22 3rd movement
The collaboration between the musicians is incredible. Thank you

Looking for this a long long time
Simply outstanding, thanks for the upload.

wow. that's amazing.
Maravillosa ejecución de un precioso concierto.
Awesome!
superbe !
¡ Bravo bravi !
Where did the video of Onofri doing RV 564 go? He really shredded that piece. It was raw, primordial and totally new. Pure deathmetal. I loved it and now it is gone!
Bellissimo! Bravissimi!
The concert master does a phenomenal job leading the orchestra, and the orchestra follows very well. I liked their take on the piece too.
il tempo come esaltatore dinamico... bravissimi
Bravo!
Super !!!
great job
Divino!
Excelente,.......
and vivaldi ofcourse best combination EVER
SHOW!
Bravo, Fantastic!!! Absolutely beautiful playing!
bravo...
molto bene, molto molto bene, continuem assim, muito bom!!
Bello!! Bravi!!
I agree. When it comes to Vivaldi's largos, almost anything is fair game for the soloist as long as it's played tastefully!
grandissimo Enrico Onofri! Vivaldi non orebbe chiedere di meglio!
Dario Caroli po'pm
❤❤❤
Mulțumesc,foarte frumoasa interpretare
So perfect tuning!! SMOOTH!!
SuperGood
This is one of the BEST BEST BEST Vivaldi Concerti ( and Bach COPIED/ TRANSCRIBED / ARRANGED it multiple times ) 😮😮😮 also the SECOND Violin and the CELLO are excellent 🎉🎉🎉 Performance and Rendition are overall WONDERFUL , top quality 🎻🎻🎻
Showowonderful
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is amazing! I'm very torn between this and the Bach BWV596 trancription.
Johnny Sinns is at it again..
Along with Matt Mercer rocking the theorbo
Some of the best Vivaldi playing I have ever heard. And from such young musicians...quite remarkable. However, the last movement is rushed, much too fast.
We now know that Baroque music was often livelier and faster than we used to think. Wagner distorted music interpretation for over a century, and tempos slowed. Beethoven's metronome settings were ignored until Conductor Roger Norrington broke the ice in the 1980's.
Yes, last movement too fast makes it lose some of its deep poignancy. Perfect IMO is Piers Lane on CD _Bach Piano Transcriptions - 3_ of that movement.
Rehearsal Resources loves this. If you work hard to learn play music instrument you will know how long it takes to achieve this presentation. Inspirational. Thank You .Best wishes RobC
Just oozes class but is also full of life
c'est transcendantale comme fugue. Dieu est grand !
And the concertmaster is not Johannes Pramsohler: he is actually playing the second violin
Vivaldi is the best metal composer that ever existed
Ligero desface de tiempos.
Vivaldi was heavily influenced by Gypsy music, as the Pieta was right across the canal from the gypsy quarter of Venice. Enrico is correct in using gypsy influenced ornamentation. (for the naysayers on here).
There is no evidence at all that Vivaldi was influenced by Gypsy music. This is just Boasian cultural relativism trying to tear down European achievements.
You are entitled to your opinions, but I disagree.
Correct. His music does have slavic influences and spent a great deal of time traveling in eastern Europe. He was also very inventive and known to tinker and experiment since he had a wonderful laboratory at the Pieta. I'm not diminishing European achievements at all, Vivaldi is profoundly Italian in all musical mannerisms. It had a mild slavic dialect to it though, which was much more well executed than his attempts at French overtures.
Would not "Turko-Balkan" be a better term? However, Vivaldi seems relatively little influenced by foreign elements compared to some other Italians, Uccellini, for example,

or even some Germans such as Fux or Telemann, the epitome of European cosmopolitanism.
What an inane conversation. In the XVIII century Venice was a cosmopolitan city and still governed much of the Balkan coast. Of course Vivaldi knew Balkan music...
We have this piece in our orchestra and my teacher picked me to play the 1st violin solo part!
What are you all talking about? Vivaldi would cry upon hearing the tempo
How the fuck do you know?
John Desiderio why the fuck do you comment pointless things
Would u have preferred it slower or faster?
Vinicius, Did you mean the viola?
Who is the wonderful first cellist?
