Welcome to Trains 5.9!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the video.
I generally film trains on the Union Pacific / BNSF Joint Line in Colorado, but I also travel farther south to catch trains on the BNSF Southern Transcon in Texas and Arizona, as well as the Union Pacific Sunset Route.
Thanks again!
Cool seeing the 3rd train knocking the signal down. The Largest Container Ship (24,000 Containers) would need 120 train loads if you figure a 100 car train x 2 using Double Stack. 🤔👍
Thanks, Ken! And wow! I think I remember reading something along those lines before… it’s truly amazing how massive those ships really are. Thanks for watching!
More awesome stuff! Love all the ATSF and FXE lately
Sorry, thought I replied! But I do too! It’s definitely nice to see some more variety, there’s been a lot more red and silver which is really awesome.
Thanks again for watching!
It’s ok! Yes red and silver is always a welcome sight!
That first train was quite a site!
Thanks so much! I thought so too. Thanks for watching!
@@trains5.9 It was my pleasure!
Great stuff! New sub here. Do you typically film at 1080p 60FPS or 4K?
Thanks so much, I appreciate it! I film in 4K 30fps, I wish my camera would do 60!
Do you know how often the Cochise coal train runs thru?
You know, I’m not entirely sure! I haven’t seen a whole lot of them… I wish there were more, but they seem to be somewhere around once a week, or so…
@@trains5.9 yeah the Cochise power plant has multiple AZEX train sets one runs up to Wyoming and the others run to El Segundo coal mine in northwestern NM.
@@southernNMRail-Refuse18 oh, interesting. I didn’t know they ran anywhere but Wyoming to get loaded. Thanks for the information and comment!
