WHEN will we get to see a
      COMPLETE TOUR
      of your Barndominium ❓
      I watched all your videos...
      From the peeks,
      it is A-MA-ZING ‼️😱
Love the stories, but we need a complete tour.
      Please film in wide angle?
I don’t know how they film these YTUBE videos, but it enables full view like TV.
      Cannot wait for the tour.

So beautiful, I worked for Lowes for 2 years and if you plan and pay attention you can find great deals. Hint most big box stores have a restore close by it or behind it. Also towards the end of the year you can get floor model appliances for really low if Lowes decides to not carry that item anymore, you won't get the Lowes warranty but you can still get the manufacturer warranty.
Also title and lumber we get returns and ask the sales associate in that department to see if they can ask the manager to lower the price on returned tile and lumber. Most will.

This is incredible. While I feel a lot of these projects are a waste of space and far too trendy/expensive, you've done an incredible job on this. And for that little!? Wow. It really shows how practical they can be.

Love this! We’re planning on buying land and I’ve been looking for the most affordable ways that we could live there and this looks like a great idea and finally you are someone who actually did everything yourself and for a great price. I doubt we’ll find a place with a barn on it already but hopefully if I put a barn on it then do improvements, the permit people will also consider it a remodel😊

I have had incredible luck buying used appliances from people off of Craigslist. My finds have included over the years: 2 Bosch dishwashers for about $100 each (best dishwashers ever), a $180 upright freezer I’ve gotten 6 years of use out of so far, a $120 giant Electrolux French door fridge that would’ve been $3k new, a new in box LG washer dryer set for $1k that a guy sold because he was accidentally delivered 2 sets on an insurance replacement and they wouldn’t take the extra set back when he tried to give it back, and a few other things too. It has usually worked out great. I’m a big believer in sourcing second hand materials to save money and reduce landfill waste.

This is a great video! One of the most useful ones on barndo building that I’ve seen. One of the things that I’ve been concerned about is the cost for a real fireplace. I love the way that yours turned out. I didn’t see a link to purchase it in the comments below. Would you mind sharing the link to the one that you purchased?

i loved that you mention habit for humanity because they really do great work rehabing homes for people in need i bought a nice shower and tub combo to remodel my on ten wide mobile home so needless too say it would not fit in the house it would have if i widen the doors but it would have cost more too do it that way so i sold it for 100 more that i paid for it and i bought a shower i could get in the doorways

    Hello,
We are entertaining the idea of building a barndominum in Northeast Florida. We can not find a company who will build from ground up. Most companies will provide the concrete and steel building but then we will have to hire a GC to finish the rest. Can you advise what the process was for you all?

Well, that all depends on which state you reside in. To build a barndominium that size will cost an arm and leg especially in Hawaii or California. Not to mention, land! You're lucky to find a 1-acre lot for $100k which is unheard of lol. Anyhow...love the concept of having a barndominium home but price-wise to build will be expensive here🥴

My wife and I were excited to see how you did this and thought it was pretty much what we wanted to do. That is, until we watched your other video ("Is a barndominium worth it?) and discovered -- you already HAD the barn. So, it isn't really "How to BUILD a barndominium ..." - it's really "How to turn a barn into a house."

We do not have metal framing, only metal exterior

    • @jessicavalle5379

Ok we will also have meta exterior but wood framing inside and my husband is wanting to do all the framing himself and just get it checked by a licensed framer to have it pass inspection, but he can’t figure out how the wood was attached to the inside part of the metal without drilling into it and causing holes going through

Is your house in a warm climate? Doesn't look as if you have much space for insulation in your ceilings.
