You are a craftsman. I would have thought that cab was a basket case. Good to see you wearing the face shield when grinding. Too many people think that wheel will always stay together.

Let me tell you something Gibson63 when I started watching your videos going through a few things not knowing if you were an expert or just someone with a passion or both. Man you have a work ethic that we seldom see anymore. I have a 1961 Chevy Apache that I'd like to get going on, I just haven't worked much on vehicles since I was 15 years old. Well obviously simpler things like brakes, oil changes, etc., but nothing extensive. That being said I find myself constantly reading and looking through videos. You absolutely have made me say to myself that I've got to get this done. When I saw your 63' my mouth dropped open. I love it! I wanted a 63' because of my birth year, but hey maybe some day in the future. Man thanks for these videos !

We just made out first attempt at an outer floor repair on our 63, had to cut the back end off and splice 1 1/2' and cut the front corner and splice a pizza slice to fit too, out cab support needed to be cut the same way, almost seemed like we ended up fabricating it from scratch for how much we cut it up. Your videos have been so helpful to us, thank you so much! I need to work on my hammer and dolly work for sure too! been a long time since i used them.

I've watched a LOT of your videos and learned a great deal from all of them. Your truck is, I believe, a '62 while my truck is an '86 - both Chevies. My truck is badly rusted but not as bad as yours. The repair principles are exactly the same and now I can see just how to attack mine. So, I've not only gotten knowledge from your vids, I've gotten courage. LOL
Can't thank you enough for putting these videos up.

the low parts of these trucks Needs a design change. If you look at all of the chevy truck floors.where dose most of the dirt and water end up.You need to bring the floor up by 1 to 2 inches to divert the water away from any corners or low spots.Just buy doing that you will no longer have a floor issue again
