Thanks for making it clear. I am glad to know what is in involved. It makes me glad I passed on a 65 c30. Everything is gone from the windshield edge up past the drip rail all the way across.

I did a front above door roof replacement from a 65 C-10 and grafted it onto my 65 Suburban. the front lip you are replacing was shot on mine to. This was not easy as I replaced the who section then spot welded to the inner section. Thanks for the post once again and your fist build videos have helped me more than any on You Tube.

I'm not brand new to body work, but am by no means accomplished with it yet, as a 'do it yourselfer'. Watching your videos helped me to see the different strategies one can employ toward solving something. Due to the lack of experience hours under my belt and no formal training in school or via another person, my thinking tended to be linear or inside the box, if you will. Watching you solve issues through creativity and innovation is inspiring opening up more possibilities in my own mode(s) of thinking. Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent vids.

Man, watching these videos has got me wanting one of these 60-66 Chevy trucks, great lines on them. My parents had a stock, unrestored '53 five window when I was a kid and a good friend's family had a hotrodded '69 stepside. I like all old American iron the same, whether GM, Ford or Mopar, but I have to thank old Chevy trucks for getting me into cars in the first place. Definitely need to own one in the future but I can't begin to pick a favorite generation, they're all great. Nice work in this video as usual.

Nice work as usual mate. You're lucky you still have junk yards to get panel sections like that. Most of our old GM, Ford, and Mopar stuff got crushed and sent to China over the last decade or so when scrap prices were high. Very little old tin left laying about.

You made a nice job of that mate. Have you ever tried filling the job with lead? I have used lead loading on some classics and it's not as hard as some would have you think it is. Makes a great job of seams and joints like the corner of Windows, sail panels etc. The best thing is it does not crack with flexing, door slamming and stuff.
