DUSK is one of the most amazing modern throwback shooters throughout the subgenre's Renaissance era alongside Wrath: Aeon of Ruin, Prodeus, Ion Fury, AMID EVIL, CULTIC, and others. Dave Oshry with all his work on the indie publisher company of New Blood Interactive has made a name for himself and his company altogether. DUSK's developer David Szymanski is also a rising star with an awesome reputation with his work. I played another game of Mr. Szymanski's couple of weekends ago in Chop Goblins which is another indie shooter yet a fun affordable 5 American bucks microshooter which you can play for fun and do achievement hunting and all like I did with Chop Goblins and all. I like to call Chop Goblins baby's first boomer shooter for the exact way David Szymanski intended to make Chop Goblins very short yet very fun. Nice video btw.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, sir. ^^ :) I could argue that DUSK is very likely the most important of boomer shooter titles. ...but I will say I am bloody tired. xD Good luck!
Not gonna lie, Dusk is probably shiniest example of Dave being really, REALLY good game and level designer. I saw so many boomer shooters that were doing almost everything right, but failing at certain things - like Project Warlock being really cool and stylish, but levels feeling same'ish corridors all over the place. Or HROT which has great atmosphere and insufferable combat that I hate so much because it takes ages to kill anything without good response, etc. etc. Dusk has none of that - enemies are on a bit healthy side? Yeah, but then again, you have powerful weapons and weaker ones can still stunlock opponents. Levels may feel a bit bland? Hell no! They are fun and creative! You feel that there is a bit too many weapons? Well, they are balanced so you will constantly switch between them and ammo placements are done strategically, so you won't be failing at that if you pay attention to your surroundings. Dusk is one of best shooters released in last 10 years, and I am including such great games as Titanfall 2 and Prodeus near it!
12:15 I cannot overstate how much i love the dual wielded shotguns in this game They are easily my second favourite shotgun in any video game ever, just barely beaten by the disperser from ION MAIDEN (fuck you iron maiden btw, im not using the new name because of you twats) I love shotguns so much, *chefs kiss*
Actually, it's not really an "american" thing alone - I can't get my natively speaking english mates to pronounce my damn name properly since 20-fucking-14, lol. It seems that whether brit or american or whatever, they seem particularly resistant to learning other languages.

@@Schwalbe1728 Hah, even with most games nowadays being trash, there's still too many to play, lol

I didn't like how fast the character moves in this game so I refunded the game. ULTRAKILL is better
