@@jamesgeorgevellavella1961 Oh that’s a bummer😕 let me know how you like it when you do get it👍🏻 I just run one bar end that’s all my state requires, works all right for me
This set up gives you a little more top and takes off the lower and torque. This set up doesn’t give it that much top and now it’s not enough in my opinion I will not be keeping this set up. If you’re just looking to give your motor some RPM relief I would say it’s good for that. I’ve got a 14 tooth front sprocket that I’ll be changing soon see how I like that paired with the 35 rear… more low end power🏍💨🤙🏻 thanks for watching! @@MiniMoturd Sweet thank you! I have found out since that it is a 428 116 chain! Thats stock ofcource, so it might change if people are changing sprockets. Cheers!
It’s does give it some rpm relief at cruising speed…When it comes to usable top end speed not really in my opinion The bike just doesn’t have enough power to keep pushing it… i’m about to go the other way and put a 14 on the front and get some more torque Back in it. I’ll check the top speed then compared to now. So far in my opinion it seems that the Stocks set up is the best choice for my needs.
@@MiniMoturd thanks for input! Im still breaking in with a 42 whopping miles lol can you cruise at 55-60 stock? Or is it pretty much tapped out? I've seen other people saying itll do 74 give or take..
@@chowder4174 With the Stock set up The max speed I ever hit was 66mph with perfect conditions. But it has no problem cruising 55 to 60 miles an hour on stock setup. The only time I couldn’t maintain those speeds was in the smoky mountains on some crazy hills which dipped to like 48 to 50 mph. Feel like the only way this bike would hit 70s is if you change the sprockets accordingly and gave it some power upgrades. But there’s people out there swearing they’re doing it…that’s just been my experience
Hey what dpes changing the sprockets do as far as performance go? I recently purchased a 135 tnt. Wouldn't mind it going 65 mph in lower 6rpm range instead of 8rm to 9 rpm
With Sprockets you can change how your Power is distributed. You can make it favor the low end torque or top end speed. Just depends on what you want. If you’re trying to drop your rpm at higher speeds then you either have to go down in size on your rear sprocket or up in size on your front. I tried dropping the RPM. I Put a rear 35t rear instead of the stock 36t and It dropped 1000rpm at the same speed. Just sucks losing your torque on these little bikes
Yeah man I went both ways. I went top end and I went with a lower torque set up. Favorite has been the stock set up. seems to be the sweet spot for me. I ended up getting a bigger too😅🏍💨👊🏻
I just installed front T17 and rear T33 from steady garage and the most I got was 82mph going downhill on the highway so really not so impressed... By the way I see you tighten that chain pretty tight, doesn't it have to have a bit of sag? I also lost a lot of low end power but I guess that was expected...
very cool to know what you got out of it. Mines OK for now kind of in the middle of torque & top end. I’m not sure what tooth range I want right now. @@MiniMoturdI might do the big bore 155 piston and upgrade the cam only if I can leave factory ecm, if I have to go aftermarket ecm and custom tune then I'll just leave it as is...
A couple of miles an hour gain…that were not really usable in my opinion with the power that the bike has. For me it’s an upgrade that would just give the bike some relief from RPMs. that would be the benefit🏍💨
I kept the front sprocket with a stock tooth ratio at 15t The only difference in the front was a lighter weight sprocket. The rear was a steel 36t stock sprocket changed to 35t aluminum sprocket. The goal was to achieve a higher top speed and give the bike some relief in rpm. Even though I did hit 2mph higher top speed I found it to be some what unusable gain in that the bike is two underpowered to achieve the TopSpeed gained and/or its top speed in general unless conditions were perfect downhill no headwind etc. It did give it some relief from the RPMs and was happy with that part of it. I have since switched the ratio again because I think I prefer the torque advantage over the top speed for me personally.
