    What's interesting about this motorbike is that from the engine specs offered, being a road version motorbike that is similar to racing motorbike specs, just imagine the potential for this new Panigale V4 engine to penetrate 240.5 hp and become one of the fastest motorbikes in the world in the first MOGE class. liter. However, the crazy 240.5 hp performance is only offered for the Panigale V4R special performance version that uses a special exhaust from Akrapovic and added special oil from Shell.

    220+ hp YIKES! I'm so done with high hp motorcycles. Now I ride an antiquated modded DR-790 (formally 650) supermoto which is the most fun bike I've ever ridden. It's cheap, simple, reliable, easy to work on, low maintenance, has gone down in both dirt and pavement with only scraped-up hand guards and muffler shield. The Panigale is a beautiful motorcycle and is the ultimate sport bike. But owning one will be like marrying a supermodel.

    All of the electronics stuff is already on the current V4 as far as I can tell. It looks like an improvement in the engine, a different seat and reduction of throttle slop is about it, aside from putting the number 1 on the bike, which is a bit naff. ‘New’ winglets are the current V4 winglets. You even have to pay for the carbon clutch cover and Rizoma rearsets that were included with my bike. I was very excited for this to be released but I think I’ll stick with my SP2.

    Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki. I truly hope they step up their 1000cc super sports. 237hp is insane out of that v4 engine. I'm not sure the in line 4 engines can squeeze out so much power without being super or turbo charged

    • @devathmanm514
      @devathmanm514 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Inline 4s can squeeze out those power figures, but we don't see them winning in MotoGP because V4s also help the tire recovery quick in and out of corners. Also, in road bikes, the Japanese I4s have a lesser compression ratio for reliability and hence lower power figures.

    • @Fearless154
      @Fearless154 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The CBR1000RR-R is essentially an i4 version of the v4R in terms of power and top speed.
      Even in WSBK, the Honda is the only bike that can match the V4R in straight line acceleration and top speed.
      Both bikes have 217hp on the street models and up to 240hp when fully track tuned.
      Yamaha and Kawasaki are the only ones who are lacking in terms of raw hp, and Suzuki has pretty much given up on the GSXR1000 and it will be pulled out of the European market.

      The problem with battery vehicles is that there is not enough lithium and cobalt to make the batteries to replace every petrol and diesel vehicle in the world with a battery vehicle.
      You also need to consider the fact that the batteries have an estimated lifespan of around ten years before replaced. Lexus Australia was quoted saying that it costs $43,000 AUD to replace the battery in their current battery SUV. If you don't replace the battery, you have to throw the vehicle away because it is useless without the battery.
      Battery powered vehicles are a fad and will not be a long-term method of transportation.

AND CHEAP for what they offer.. Honda's original R.. the CB1100R was $10 grand NZ & EEEVERYONE was up in arms.. it's broke the open production race class.. nothing's changed & it's ALL great stuff.. just buy the most you can afford & ride.. once upon a time.. a Norton 850 was as big as they came.. well.. behind the Vincents, Velocettes, Enfield Vs etc.. but they were way outta touch for most too.. so nothing has changed

      This is not the wsbk model, their model is 245 Wheel Horse Power machine and at 160kg wet weight. So yeah, its even more of a monster than this V4R.

    "Massive power" is interesting. Because in road form its got less power than the cheaper competition. And in maxed out race attack mode it's still more money and 80Hp shy of a H2R

      H2R is not a track bike lolll this is, its already 30 seconds faster than H2R in Lusail track.

      @@kestrel3509 well the h2r IS a track bike. And 30 seconds faster on a specific track, that doesn't even make sense.

      @@larryhouse3776 Dude its a misconception, H2R is still a drag bike, there is a reason why Zx10RR have completely different chassis than H2R. And even 600cc are faster than H2R in a circuit.
