Excellent information... I'm currently experiencing my fans taking quite a while to turn on when im warming up or idling on my CR-V 2nd Gen. I will check my thermostat.
friend 9 months ago you had a problem with a honda accord with ABS module problems I see that they changed it but the part was new or used it was necessary to program
Hello im in a dire situation and i have a question, my car started off blowing cold air from the AC if we would turn the AC on in the winter then a few months later it started overheating and reaching the red line and running out of battery in the winter. We replaced the battery but its still overheating and today it was overheated without driving it in a day. Please respond as soon as possible 🙏🏾 thank you. My car is a 2011 buick enclave.
Pontiac 06 3.9 ltr . Iam down to back flushing the system BEFORE I tear out the heater core or the heads . Already fixed thermostat and water pump and still no hot air
Can a bad thermostat keep antifreeze from flowing to your heater core? Also can a heater core that needs flushing out cause a person to think that the heater core has to be replaced, that it is no good at all when only the flush out is needed?
Okay. I actually have low heat, not great. But I may change my thermostat I don't think it's been changed in a long time. 7 dollar part. May be all I need.
I can replace my thermostat myself. Easy to get to. And after the engine is cooled off overnight. Just common sense. Can drain my coolant but DONT think it's 100% necessary
Hi, What if the upper radiator hose gets instantly hot along with engine, but bottom hose remains relatively cold. Plenty of heat inside cabin. If I turn off cabin heat, engine starts overheating while driving on highway.
@@RBTheMechanic when I touch it it's clear no smell my car is not running hot I still have coolent my ac and heater both work fine I even made sure the AC hose wasn't clogged but I didn't use air
If only a flush out is needed for the radiator plus the heater core, and that's the problem, could a person automatically assume (mistakenly) that he or she has a bad heater core and it must be replaced? May not necessarily be bad, just clogged.
Car is too erly to have any issue or bad heat components so only thing I would start with is to check coolant level and top it off if heat goes good then check for leaks
@@RBTheMechanic Coolant seems to be ok as I replaced it recently. It also start to have little leak from center front. Too new to have leak, unless I did not tighten transmission bolt or missing a washer last time when replace trans fluid at about 80k miles.
We did a heater core flush and the heat still isn’t working but the car heats up fine in the dash still possible it’s thermostat? Both heater core hoses don’t get warm unless driving and then the heat works inside as well.
@@RBTheMechanic 2009 Chevy impala. We’re also going to try bleeding air somehow but my mechanic is stumped. Both heater hoses don’t get warm though so that’s weird I mean they do but only after driving during idle it’s blowing cold
I got my heater core replaced by a mechanic, it was working the day he fixed it and it was fantastic, a week later back to how it was before i got it fixed heat not working when i put it on mix. What could it be???
Top off the coolant see how it effects it maybe low coolant could be ur issue also inspect the radiator cap… other wise next step would be to check or replace thermostat last could be bad heator core
Can a faulty temp sensor send the wrong signal. Saying it’s cold. My cluster gauge (engine temp was reading just about a 1/4. Even after I drove it for 30mins. I’ve replaced my thermostat and it’s still not warming up to normal temp.

My heater works, Ac works, my upper radiator hoses gets hot on time, but my bottom radiator hose satays same not hot, but when I drive my car and hit the gas over 30 mph, my temperature gauge says car overheating, I watched your 2009 mazda water outlet video big leak, and did it step by step, and no leaks, but my cars says over heating, and I also checked the bottomed radiator hose without turning my car off after it says overheating, that hoes I’m not even hot what’s the problem here sir? It could be normal fans do take a while to turn on as long as it dosent over heat they only operate at certain temperature
@@RBTheMechanic thanks👍🏾
Thank you brother, learned a lot simply delivered information.

My 2008 equinox is leaking a bit of coolant on pasenger seat outside and my heater doesn’t work would it be my thermostat?
Leaking coolant need to be repaired before thermostat cuz no or low coolant.= no heat

Lower hose I think suppose to be cooler cuz it goes through radiator to cool off depends where thermostat is
where did you get the laser gun?
