TESTING GLOW PLUGS with a battery - Peugeot struggles to start

Classic car merchandise can be found on my etsy shop somethingautom... Glow plugs are essential to starting diesel engines (old ones more than modern ones) and when they go wrong, your neigbors can get pretty annoyed at the noise of your old engine cranking over, and over, and over!
Fortunately they can be easy to test and replace!

you can check the operation of your glow plugs in situ by using a lay on or clamp on

You can yes. I have done it before by measuring resistance through a multimeter between the cylinder head and the terminal of the glow plug.

@@MarksWheels I was told to do it by ampreage 15 amps per glow plug so the 4 working will show you 60 amps on an ammeter doesn't matter if it is the lay on type or the clip on type it is a cheap tool on the likes of e bay
