    Nice car, you are lucky to have something like that being so young.
    I would always advise a custom tune by a reputable performance specialist.

      @DjNikGnashers 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DrDre001 I think you're missing the point tho.
      A custom tune by a very good tuner, is about watching and monitoring everything during repeated dyno pulls, and tweaking everything for safety.
      A good tuner will look at all of the details, timing, fuelling, intake temps, spikes in power delivery, and much more.
      No two cars are the same, and flashing your ecu with a map without seeing exactly what everything is doing, is just silly.
      I'd love to see the dyno graphs for some of these MHD cars, I bet they are awful.

    • @Broke-Media

      Definitely do it! Wakes the car up to what it really should be! Stage 1 doesn’t really effect the reliability at all, stage 2 is when it has some more effect but even then it doesn’t directly effect the reliability, more so just pushes the car harder which can decrease the lifespan of some parts. The sports gauge was still 'only' showing a peak of 350bhp, does anyone know why? Stock m240i's generally get 350-360bhp on a dyno (RWD ones do anyway, not sure about xdrive although it shouldn't be much different). I know MHD stage 1 doesn't push as hard as other stage 1 tunes but I still thought it would get a higher readout than 350bhp. Looking at the speedo on the video it definitely looks to be accelerating faster than my stock m240i so maybe the BHP guage isn't registering the tune for whatever reason.

    • @Broke-Media
      @Broke-Media  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s because the hp gauge is more of a gimmick and just a fun feature to look cool! It’s not accurate in any way and more of a calculated unit from the ecu.

    • @Broke-Media
      @Broke-Media  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never trust hp numbers coming from a car’s performance display. Only real way to know what your making is a dyno

      @richardkillian5657 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Broke-Media fair enough, I thought that might be the case. It just seems pointless that MHD update the dials to go to 480bhp when it’s just to be capped at 350bhp. Anyway the crappy gimmick doesn’t matter, your car seems very quick! I can’t wait to go stage 1 on my B58, I think I’ll go with BM3 though as I’ve had great results with them before. Thanks for the video

      @@richardkillian5657 yeah I’m not sure why either! But yeah man you’ll love it, a tune really makes the car that much better I highly recommend it. You’ll wonder why it didn’t come with that power in the first place it feels so good. Thank you I appreciate the support🙏🏼
