Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

I love how anxious Kieran gets, Tearapagos wasn't even necessarily "choosing" us like Ogrepon did, we were just the first thing it saw. But the dude became so scared of our maincharacteritis that he just chucked the Master Ball at it. That was such a power move.
It feels wrong to describe it as a power move, when Kieran felt so powerless about the whole thing

I saw it more as a sucker punch than a power move
A master ball to the back is a really underhanded way to catch a pokemon (don’t judge too harshly though, we all did our fair share of back strikes in legends arceus)
Nahhh, they knew what they were doing with that scene. Cute little Terapagos looks up and we are the first thing it lays its eyes on. Like Togepi way back in the anime, imprinting on Misty. I obviously wanted Terapagoss but I did feel the same jolt of “Uh oh!” as Kieran. Master Ball still caught me off guard though.

Cynthia has 4 (DPP, BDSP, BW2, Legends), but Kieran has about 4 as well (2 for Teal Mask, 2 for Indigo Disk)

It's haunting, really: Kieran's single-minded obsession with defeating the player has gotten to the point where his own theme is shrouded by this one.
I absolutely loved how his theme's signature opening notes distort like a broken record before it transitions, like Kieran's pushed himself until he's burnt out to nothing
Really fits with how the silly, innocent chorus in his first theme pretty much completely disappears by the third theme. Each theme has clear structural similarities with the previous one, but the initial childish joy in Kieran is completely gone during the Championship battle.
Reminds me of how Hop's last battle theme in Sword and Shield had his actual theme completely buried under the track. It was somebody who thought he was the main character realizing he was just the stepping stone rival.

After getting beaten up and embarrassed by the main character during the teal mask and the indigo disk, the legendary pokemon that HE tore out of the crystals waking up and walking over to the main character was the hardest slap to kieran's face he's ever gotten, and he understandably freaks out and chucks the master ball at terapagos.
Also like how kieran having a masterball was hinted by drayton giving every new champion a master ball when the current one is defeated.
Also, why is there so many masterballs in existence?

Sada/turo have tons of master balls, to help ensure the efficiency of their time machine, likely requisitioned from the pokemon league
The BB league likely gets them due to how proficient they are with battling, being the only school to have an internal pokemon league probably does a number for your reputation
@@Thedemonkinghimself I think that you need a research grant of sufficient level to obtain one. In the school, only students who essentially become ultimate honor students get one, and in BB academy, it’s a prize for becoming champion. I think that selling them is illegal, so they can only be distributed to those deemed extraordinary.

I genuinely felt sorry for Kieran. He was the one to pull Terapagos out, but then out of sheer luck it landed in a way that when Terapagos woke up, it saw us first and started walking towards us. I mean c'mon Gamefreak, why you gotta do my guy dirty like that.

I'm more mad that we stole it from him after all was said and done. I mean, they couldn't let Kieran keep this Terapagos and give us a second one? Doesn't help that Terapagos didn't give us time to be emotionally invested like Ogerpon did.
@@smashmaster521 To be fair, it was mentioned in Terapagos' Pokedex that there use to be much more of the species but then most of them went extinct due to a seismic shift. So it's implied that this Terapagos may be the only one left (that humans can get in contact with, at least).

It honestly hurt seeing Kieran getting progressively more and more sad, that ending cutscene made me so happy

Yeah the ending cutscene after that Terastalized Terapagos fight made me cheer up now that Kieran apologized/accept that can't beat the MC and saw the light
Kieran immediately became my favorite in the first DLC because of how relatable he is, and seeing the story play out made me more and more hurt.
Even in this DLC, he was still super relatable. I’ve 100% gone through this, hell I’ve gone through it recently. I’m glad we get to be friends with him again in the end, I was so happy to see the MC walk side by side with him
They really did end it in the best way possible, Kieran still should be proud he grew up and learned a lot, even his sister really respects how much he has grown compared to how she used to treat him like a booger that wouldn't stay in the trash. It really was an epic story these two.
The moment Drayton said that the prize for winning the BB league is a Master Ball and I realized Kieran has one, I got a cold shudder down my back. Kieran is one of the best written characters pokemon has ever introduced. The finale of the Indugo disk was breath-taking.
Kieran genuinely made me feel like I still wasn't ready for his Champ battle even with my raid team of level 100s. I did take time to set up my team in prep before going for it. That's how you write a good rival. When a veteran of every generation feels like "Hold up...let me check my team" though Volo is the reason I'm scarred. He set ALL of us straight....
I didn't even think about the Master Ball thing because I already had 5 in my bag (thanks to hacked shiny trades that have website names). So I just snarked and said "they really be handing these things out like Halloween candy."
But when Kieran used it on Terapagos, I knew instantly where he got that!
Also man that was amazing. I actually nearly lost to him in the BB League.
This theme really feels like Kieran's fighting with just his last spark of hope
This is his last shot of one-uping us. You saw his face when Terapagos was walking towards us.

For once, a character in a Pokémon main series game brought a Masterball to catch a Legenday Pokémon is by far one of the best head turn ever.
He was ready on the get go.
He refused to let another Legendary slip through his fingers.

I love how all the kieran themes progressively change until its nearly unrecognizable to the first one
Kieran chucking his One Master Ball he likely got from becoming Champion meant a lot to me. It means that from the moment he set foot back in the academy, he was dead set on getting back at us somehow, and he’s prolly had that ball locked and loaded ever since, waiting for his moment to strike, and Fucker didn’t Miss. fighting Terapagos with a level 75 team wasn’t easy at all.
my team were all between 80 and 85 and i struggled HARD. i was anticipating a terapagos fight yeah but i was anticipating the primary challenge to be a true kieran rematch and so i didn’t want to be overleveled. but sike, it was actually the tera raid battle from hell. had me fighting for my life the whole time
My team was all in the 90's and I still struggled quite a bit vs Terapagos (especially the second phase with all the shields - I had to use a bunch of healing items and even a couple revives just to barely win with only my Lanturn left)
@@chaoscasserole5990 it’s the way that terastallizing your pokémon was the only way to make a dent in its massive healthbar with its annoying shield, but at the same time its stellar tera starstorm becomes super effective against terastallized pokémon… yeah that was frustrating
@@peach6648 I wound up leaning very heavily on my shiny Lv 100 Archaludon (which I nicknamed "Vritra"), and even then I had to use a lot of items to keep my Archaludon in the fight, even with it's Stamina ability, Body Press, & an Assault Vest. Terastallized Terapagos was rough, and I wasn't optimistic that any of my other teammates would have lasted long enough to wear Terapagos down via attrition like Archaludon could.
@@peach6648 even without super-effective damage, it still had 2 or 3 hit KOs against my whole team with Tera Starstorm. Having STAB neutral damage against literally everything is quite dangerous for other people's existence
I like to imagine that Terapagos' theme immediately overtaking Kieran's is the game's way of hinting that while Kieran may have caught it, he was absolutely NOT in control of it. The moment he gave it some more Tera Juice it's first thought was to break free and begin it's full assault.
I don't think of it that way, Terápagos theme is never present, only it's soundfont, since any of it's leitmotifs are there, which in my opinion show how, even though Terápagos is the one fighting, at the moment Kieran was the one in control.

I like the detail that when terapagos started walking to the character, they seemed like they were have the same “oh no…” thought that most of us were having.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who hears Bad Apple in some parts of the song-
That’s my favorite part about this DLC, because twice the character has that oh no face…. the first time we when we meet with Keenan face-to-face and the cafeteria you’re characters awkward smile screams like this kid is gonna kill me and then here when terapogos wakes up and it starts walking towards your face screams goddamnit. Pokémon God don’t keep giving this kid more reason for him to kill me.

I just finished the dlc and when i saw him do that i was really shocked too. It's really rare our rivals get a legendary.

He has 4 battle themes in total. Champion is probably my favorite, this one doesn’t even feel like one of his battle themes aside from the intro
His main leitmotif is still partially there, it just doesn't sound like it because they completely made it Area Zero style

This theme is real somber, it *sounds* like Kieran’s desperately trying to pick up the pieces of his shattered reality, clinging onto Terapagos as a last ditch effort to make sure his efforts weren’t in vain
I love how this generation showed how common a Master Ball is nowadays. It went from a secret development in Silph Co, to the black market where only villains managed to get one, to present day where normal people can get them sans their rarity and/or high price point. And even showing their weakness of being destroyed?! Seriously, good writing
From what I understand, Geovanni of Rainbow Rocket takes over Silph Co and makes them produce nothing but Master Balls.
Not to mention the AI Professors keep ALL of their Pokemon in Master Balls

Well, they're clearly still pretty rare in the sense of one gets the feeling they're very exclusive things - the academy for rich yuppie kids gives a single one to their absolute most stellar champion battler, and the only person we see able to get multiples is the professor that also had the budget and government backing to build a giant research facility and a whole ass time machine.
Still, going from "one-of-a-kind super secret project" to "government-regulated million dollar item you can purchase" is definitely a noticeable progress in terms of availability!
I wanna point something out. When he joins us to fight Terapagos, he has tears in his eyes, and then he yells, like he did at the start of his Champion fight. But this scream is different.
The scream at the beginning of the Champion fight is expressing his anger, turmoil and pain. But when he joins the Terapagos fight, his scream is one that sets his anger, turmoil and pain free, and it's even more powerful.
I can't help but getting teary-eyed when I see this scene, it's perfect.
0:38-1:23 is like the most 'Pokémon' feeling theme I've heard for a battle theme in the entire series, if that makes sense. Slap bass and that one chord progression Go Ichinose is obsessed with leading into a section that ascends, for lack of a better term

Anyone remember that old theory that Terapagos was watching Paldea through the eyes on the tera jewels? Imagine if it walked towards us because it watched our adventure in its sleep like a dream and basically already knew us. It chose us… now turn around little guy, or else this other little guy is gonna kill me.

I loved when Kieran said "im now the indigo disk (player) you can't defeat me!!!!" Really emotional

My favourite part was after that, when Terapagos said "It's diskin' time" and indigo disked all over Kieran's Master Ball

I really loved how the dlc deconstructed the “main character syndrome” that Pokemon mcs have where they manage to catch every legendary, to the point that one of the characters gets jealous and becomes hostile

Shout out to Terapagos for being the one Pokemon that successfully broke out of a master ball.
And don’t say “Erm ackually they had a small chance to break out in Gen 1 🤓” that’s a misconception, the chance to fail is there, but the game bypasses all checks for the master ball, so no, it doesn’t actually have a chance to fail in gen 1.
Well, it was already caught, it destroyed the ball only once it Terastalized and Kieran tried to get it back.
I mean, it’s always been implied that legendary Pokémon of decent power like Mewtwo and Necrozma could break out, but most Legendaries are amoral, and amused by our skill, so they stick around willingly. This is the first recorded example however.

The second Drayton told me that EVERY BB Champion gets a master ball I knew what was gonna happen.
Kieran as a character is so interesting. Going from a sweet timid kid that admires us to someone who juat ends up having malice and spite towards us after the Teal mask. I find it upsetting that we player are aware of his unfortunate growth but our actual player character is not. Man we really put him through it

I like to think the start of the song is a foreshadowing of the lack of control Kieran gets over Terapagos
The way the music starts with a song similar to kieran's themes, then abruptly stops to Terapagos, overtaking it
This theme feels like it’s representing Kieran and Terapagos: Kieran’s anger/resentment for the player, and Terapagos’ joy, with it starting with dissonant strings turning into a normal melody.
Just finished the indigo disk, Kieran is definitely one of the best rivals in the series. He refused to lose another legendary Pokemon to the player, so he went and caught it himself. Literally no one else has ever done that and the reason he did it feels so real

Kieran looked so appalled at the fact Terapagos also tried to choose us like Ogrepon did when the little fella just walked towards us. Probably because we were the first thing it saw and yknow, imprint (this could be incorrect) or another reason. It was funny, but made me feel horrible for catching two legendary Pokémon he had his eyes on for. I don’t feel too bad about catching Ogrepon but definitely Terapagos is where some guilt surfaced.
Also even if you were willing to trade Ogerpon for Kieran, game denies you to trade Legendary or Shiny for NPC
Fun Fact that someone commented on tne video of Stellar Terapagos: you can try to not catch Terapagos and he concedes, saying it has to be you.

the little bit of foreshadowing where Drayton gives you the Masterball for becoming BBL champion, I like it how it also means straight from there that Kieran also has one.
Alright but we all have to admit, this entire DLC was an emotional rollercoaster. The elite 4 was a pretty big challenge, the character development is insane, Terapagos breaking out of the master ball gave me chills, and teaming up with Kieran was just the perfect ending.

this piece is SOOOOO GOOD the frantic triplets at 0:38 are the best part but the entire song just sounds so desperate… i know this is really terapagos theme and not kieran’s but i think they intentionally made this one more somber and determined and the final one more chaotically joyful
As soon as Drayton said that every champion gets a masterball I knew Kieran was going to do something like this. But it still shocked me a bit when he threw that ball.
Kieran managed to achieve what several giant evil organisations and the strongest champion couldn't: if you want to capture a legendary, use a master ball! In all seriousness that scene was very an awesome moment, the immediate panic upon seeing Terapagos notice us really speaks to how carried he is by what I shall now refer to as The Ogerpon Incident.
Idk how intentional the decision to have his motif be cut-off by the Terapagos theme (0:04) but it's some neat foreshadowing for how Kieran ends up losing control of the legendary.
And finally, I can't unhear it and neither will you 0:16 sounds like Bad Apple and my brain will never stop being thrown off by the fact it doesn't go in the same direction melody wise. I might be a a little too corrupted by that franchise😪
Along with how it sounds like bad apple, (i think in some of his other themes it has some other parts too) his ace was hydrapple, an APPLE DRAGON
Regarding the evil organizations, in generation four, we learn that the balls act as a power limiter. That’s why they used the red chains.

I feel like this really shows Kierians desperation to beat us with him instantly panicking when he saw terapagos see us first and start walking towards us, with him responding by catching it in a master ball and hopes to beat you with him thinking it would carry him to victory due to it being "the hidden treasure of Area Zero".

Really like how Intense Kieran feels about the MC beating him in so many battle and lost his opportunity of getting Ogerpon to join him and as he saw Terapagos imprinted on the MC dudes feeling a lot jealous about it and start using the Master ball to catch it just so he doesn't fail and prove that he can beat the MC with the legendary.

Kieran really be the guy with 4 themes in one game. A win at whatever it takes and one last try theme for him, it sounds like he’s on his last breath and can’t take another loss to you, which is what happens. But also the start is Kieran’s theme making it sound like he’s in control of the situation, yet as soon as he sends out terapagos it immediately turns into a form of terapagos’ theme and it shows Kieron is definitely not in control and he doesn’t know how to use this thing he’s caught
What i like about this theme is that the instruments included in kierans other themes are accompaning the melody of the music showing that he needs a legendary pokemon to beat but not even that can defeat us cos of our main character bs

Heard this randomly in some online battle highlight video. Despite sort of falling out of Pokemon with this gen, I just couldn't ignore how good this song is (specifically the 0:38 section) and _had_ to find out what it's called.
Bad apple intensifies
For real this whole arc was amazing. I used Ogerpon for my battle with Terapagos cause it felt approps to use her as my starting mon. It worked out nicely for the second Terapagos fight because she ended up being present for the first stage and got sent back out (the second stage she got knocked out and I wasn't going to let that stand) right in time for Kieran to join the fight and the battle finished with both Hydraple and Ogerpon bringing Terapagos down. I think Hydraple actually got the final blow but I was so hyped at that point my brain wasn't fully processing.
