Awesome video! I love the Tinkaton Eternatus farming strat too. I've been using it since my first run with Tinkaton. I will say, for anyone who wants to use the strat, one way to improve the Tinkaton Covet Eternatus farm is to put the Multi-Lens on Tinkaton. Each hit with Covet has a chance to steal an item and activate your Grip Claws too, so you could potentially steal 8 items on one turn with the 3 max Multi-Lens. I actually reached the max 99 Dragon Fangs on my PB endless run for my Raging Bolt. At that point, even a Dragon Pulse is ultra powerful.
Haha, nice, I never thought about using Multi Lens with Covet, I was using it with Ancient Power and Primal Groudon on my first normal run where I finally beat floor 200.
@@Tanystropheus10 no he wouldn't. Right know i'm at floor 1200. Here enemy pokèmon have 25% chance of enduring a hit (multi lens don't matter, they endure all the hits if the 35% procs). They also have +130% damage, so if u don't oneshot, u get oneshot, since they also get stat boosts from berries.
@@Tanystropheus10 As previously stated, it just scales harder and harder until they have so many damage tokens that a resisted tackle will one-shot you even if you're 10,000 levels above the level cap, this usually starts happening around 1500-2000. The best strategy at this point is to use multi lens and king's rock to proc flinches and splice sturdy onto your carry so you can endure a hit and get your stat boosts from berries. Even with this, eventually protection tokens stack up so high that normal attacks stop working, usually between 2500 and 3500 depending on how strong your carry is. After that point you have to rely on fixed damage, and there's whole teams and builds necessary to get to 5850 where your tokens cap out and endless officially ends.
I was not expecting PointCrow's strategy to be the same exact one i happened to be using in my own Endless run, except im using Kyurem-White, who also has Dragon Energy as an egg move. Stealing all the dragon fangs is the funniest thing and the sheer damage it deals is hilarious even as all the enemies in late game endless become impossible to kill normally.

Technician Meowth with Fakeout and Payday was the Pokemon that first carried me to lvl 100 too. Fun game that made me think more about Pokemon and moves that I basically never used in actual Pokemon games cause I'm casual.
I did some damage calcs by hand for the Roaring Moon battle at 17:04. Assuming it had 31 Spec Def IVs and a Spec Def boosting nature while you got a low damage roll, Rayquaza did a minimum of 7,381 damage. I can't take the number of Dragon Fangs into account because they weren't shown on screen at the time. EDIT: I rewatched and saw you hadn't refought Eternatus in between Roaring Moon and showing that you had 29 dragon fangs, so I redid the damage taking the 29 dragon fangs into account. In that case, Rayquaza did a minimum of 46,363 damage.
To those new to pokerogue, this strategy no longer works. Eternatus now has flamethrower and will obliterate Tinkaton. Also Rayquaza was nerfed. My current strategy is Kyogre(Main)+Leafeon(Red Shiny and Sappy Seed+Pickup)+Garganacl(Red Shiny and Salt Cure+Sturdy+Recover+Extra Healing)+3 Red shinies. Edit for Elcebollon: My current strategy needs Sappy seed but I'll take a look at Pachirisu for my Electric Monotype run. I'm currently trying to get at least one level of shiny for kyogre so I can replace one of the red shinies for my blue shiny ribombee which has honey gather. That way, I get honey gather and I still have max luck
@@elcebollon7750 Sappy seed is extremely useful for beating Eternatus with Garganacl alongside sturdy, recover, salt-cure, and the fact that he usually uses Eternabeam which has a turn needed for recharge. I am trying to get Kyogre at least one shiny level because then I could substitute one of the red shinies with my blue shiny ribombee with honey gather and still hit the luck cap. I'll definitely take a look at pachirisu though.

While Tinkaton doesn't work anymore, A pokemon with Steel as it's primary type being fused with a Well Baked Body Dachsbun can do the same thing Tinkaton and other fairy steels used to. Just requires a little more luck. Endure can also be used to always survive Eternabeam while still forcing a Recharge turn on Eternatus. It will also always use Eternabeam against a healthy dragon type that's weak to dragon. I made use of these two facts by putting Endure on my Mega Latios plus shell bells and Enigma and Sitrus berries to heal up before it could fire off the next Eternabeam, and strike with Luster Purge with multi-lens (which was recently reworked) on the recharge turns. Luster Purge's 50% chance to drop the target's Special Defense is especially helpful here as it stops the fight from going too long on E-Max Eternatus floors. I beat the floor 750 and 1000 Eternatus fights this way on the endless run I'm on (it is my first endless run also). The recent nerf to Endure tokens that stops them from activating more than once per pokemon certainly helps. It might be that you don't even need to heal up if eternatus always clicks Eternabeam even if your dragon type is at one HP. But I'm just saying what i know for sure.
Oh wow, was not expecting Nuadha's theme from Mabinogi during the final Eternatus fight!!! Fking mad respect for you now!!! And just, wow, an EPIC video all around!!! I have been loving you play through these fan-made Pokemon games recently and it has been so amazing watching you go!!! Keep it up! 🎉
It's because tokens stack to 999 each, which is how much tokens enemies would have at floor 5850. once you beat the pokemon on floor 5850, the game tries to give more tokens to the pokemon like usual, but since the stacks are maxed, it can't add them and just freezes (or now in newer version it just ends). People managed to get past 5850 due to starting their attempt at a point where getting to 5850 started a second stack of both damage tokens and resistance tokens, so the game didn't get stuck trying to add more as there was another stack it could add them to.
Im so glad to have been here through the beginning of your streams to now and, honestly it gets better and better, Eric! Thank you so much for helping to bring smiles and fun to this community!! ❤❤❤
Small correction Fake out with stab has a 90 basepower 40 to 60 and then stab on the 60 as the bonusses in pokemon are Additive so its the 50% bonuses on the total. And stab gets calculated last.
The roguelike elements of this game combined with the raid boss mechanics of the dynamax adventures plus add like megas to the boss pool and you might have the best multiplayer Pokémon experience ever
This is the standard way to play endless. He's missin some of the big hitters like giving his salt cure pokemon soak(turns typing to water so the saltcure does more dmg,) and leech seed. Or his overleveled pokemon night shade/seismic toss, can also do counter+mirror coat or metal burst (depending on your speed.) Can also put super fang on your runaway mon, lotta cool stuff you can do. But all of this mostly comes into play in the later floors of endless, after where he decided to quit. I personally like to get an endless run set up with shiny charms ready for a shiny weekend event, load it up, farm abit over the event, maybe start a 2nd run, then sit on it until next shiny event. Either way, super fun game.
There’s a broken start if u have a toucannon with beak blast and a multi hit lens it will infinitely attack any boss pokemon without activated any berries or ending the move
Just a teensy lil explainer on the difference of rogueLIKE vs rogueLITE, cause you sain that unlocking Pokemon for future runs was a roguelike feature. Meta progression is strictly a roguelite thing, where your "account" gets stronger over time. The roguelike part is just a normal run, where the runs you're going on are random. Anyways, glad to see you're getting addicted to this as much as everyone has been the past couple of weeks XD Just wanted to clarify that little bit of lexicon that honestly a lot of people misuse (which is super fair cause it's supremely niche, lol)
Love this great video, when selecting you team some pokemon have a purple box round them. Pokerus it increases Exp gains and will spread to the other pokemon in your team. This made a massive difference to my runs thank you for the shinny and item pick up info.

I been playing pokerogue tirelessly for weeks. Always use a zigagoon, I love also use a Kyurem that has dragon breath, ancient power, freeze dry to destroy water types, and no retreat. I played pokerogue for about 144 hours of game time. I'm collected every pokemon, a lot of shinies, and a battle bond greninja.
My strat is using zigzagoon and shedinja and DNA splicing them together. It ends up with covet, extreme speed, shadowball and you can teach it a fairy move before combining them to deal with dark types. Also when nincada evolves it doubles the items it's holding, which helps in the early game.
I like pokerogue because it is simple enough that someone like me who hasn't played a single Pokémon game can still beat the game after a few tries Edit: a ONE IN 64 CHANCE OF BEING A SHINY??? It took me over 150 shiny up eggs to get a single one
they are 1/64 from the shiny up machine. that machine however is the worst one to get pokemon from. early game, you want to use the legendary pokemon machine, and later on you want the egg move one to get specific egg moves for specific strategies (im currently trying to get a population bomb cinccino)
@@albedo2433 Well yeah but I already had most of what I wanted. Plus with all the rare Pokémon I already had what I found to be the most useful were the egg moves.
I run a Wo-Chien with Ruination and Leech Seed, that I will splice with Gargancl for Salt Cure, and then Unfuse, then fuse again with Shedninja for Wonder Guard. It can only be killed by hazards, sandstorm/hail, and fairy moves. But make sure to put max focus bands, it helps alot.
To be honest, he didn't break it... He essentially used the meta strategies everyone in endless uses and only made it to floor 1000. That Rayquaza would be essentially useless starting somewhere between stages 2500-3000 because of the stacking damage reduction the enemies get. You eventually have no choice but to play a Sturdy+Metal Burst mon to beat the bosses every 50 stages. Personally I am not a fan of how limiting it gets at that point, but the devs are currently working on revamping endless so that it is not a solved mode with only 1 viable strategy.
10 soul dew make the negetive stat into just 1. it would've been even more op if it was 0, assuming pokerouge would have the same reaction to having 0 defense as normal pokemon games and just do 1 damage no matter what
Fun fact, this interaction is extremely important for ACTUALLY breaking endless mode, as Metal Burst + sturdy is the Go-to combo for doing so, as eventually the pokemon get enough Damage Reduction tokens to take 1 damage from all conventional attacks, and get enough Damage boost tokens to OHKO all of your pokemon even if they're massively overleveled, and Metal Burst is basically like if Counter and Mirror coat were combined, but didn't have negative priority. If metal burst is used before your opponent attacks, it will just fail, so having 1 speed is ideal with it!
This video feels like a cool little time capsule for old pokerogue because things like crow's eternatus stat don't work anymore The main reasons being Eternatus now knows flamethrower so the only way you could be invincible is by getting dna splicers with a dachsbun and something that would result in a steel/fairy type with well baked body Leppa berry limit was reduced from 10 to 2 And a lot more things
PokeRogue beyond Floor 1,000 is a very different game. As you progress, Tokens are added on the top right that apply buffs to the enemy Pokemon. These increase the damage they deal, decrease the damage they take, can heal status conditions, inflict status conditions on you, or heal some of their HP. There are strategies to make it pretty far, if you minmax type boosting items and Lucky/Golden Eggs, you can make it to the mid 2,000s on brute force alone. However, there will come a point where the game completely changes. All the rules of Pokemon go out the window, everything will one shot you regardless of level, type or stats and the damage you deal will become insignificant. At this stage, overtime damage is nice but the Recovery Tokens can counter those.
Fun fact. If you didn’t know you can toxic any Pokémon with a special Pokémon named SALAZZLE due to it ability letting anything be poisoned and it naturally learns toxic, soooo you can toxic eternatus, and salazzle is easy to encounter as if you have the map then you have a 100% chance of going to the volcano and if you can survive of course, if you know where to go, you can toxic eternatus and see a hp bar go down every turn in classic mode also salazzle is poison fire so it can tank eternatus’s cross poison, sludge bomb, flamethrower
Boss Pokemon can be captured, you will need to bring them to the last bar in order to unlock the catch, this does not apply to Paradox Pokemon not captured and Eternatus until unlocking it as a starter itself (Unlock all previous starter Pokemon to unlock Eternatus), you also ignore health bars with a master ball (the uncatchable rule applies to paradox pokemon not owned and eternatus)
I don't mean to be that "umm akshually" guy but i feel this may be genuinely informative or interesting; this seems more like a roguelite since (as you said) each run becomes easier and easier courtesy of the new pokemon you get to pick. Rogue*lite* generally means that the difficulty curve goes down the more you play; think permanent upgrades. Rogue*like* generally are more punishing in that the only thing you carry over is your own skill; the difficulty curve does not go down, but there are exceptions to both genres where they each borrow from each other to remove/reduce some of the flaws of both (roguelike can have unlocks like RoR2, since a major flaw with -likes is that they create a lack of a sense of progression)

How do you play the game
Doesn't eternatus have flamethrower? How do you deal with that?
@@2aNullPointer Eternatus only has Flamethrower in the 2nd phase of classic mode. It never has Flamethrower in Endless mode.
@@MatthewBlackwell._. It's browser based, so on the internet.
Fun fact: 100-1000 is considered early game

Small correction to 3:45:
It’s only random when you get your first gym leader (50/50 between floor 20 or 30). The rest of the gym leaders are always 30 floors after the previous.
You can add pachirisu instead of leafeon for their passive ability and pickup, this would get you honey for more money and pickup at the same time.

Endless actually does end somewhere in the late 5,000's.
Because the game engine literally cannot go further. It killscreens.

This is the most amount of mind, luck, outplay and precision in any pokemon battle i have ever seen.

Anyways, glad to see you're getting addicted to this as much as everyone has been the past couple of weeks XD
Just wanted to clarify that little bit of lexicon that honestly a lot of people misuse (which is super fair cause it's supremely niche, lol)

My strat is using zigzagoon and shedinja and DNA splicing them together. It ends up with covet, extreme speed, shadowball and you can teach it a fairy move before combining them to deal with dark types. Also when nincada evolves it doubles the items it's holding, which helps in the early game.

Although my first egg shiny (and my only one at the time of writing this) is a shiny registeel
they are 1/64 from the shiny up machine. that machine however is the worst one to get pokemon from. early game, you want to use the legendary pokemon machine, and later on you want the egg move one to get specific egg moves for specific strategies (im currently trying to get a population bomb cinccino)

Of course pointcrow breaks this game just after it came out
Gyat Skibi
Do not say that
it didnt just come out its been out for like 3 or 4 months
To be honest, he didn't break it... He essentially used the meta strategies everyone in endless uses and only made it to floor 1000. That Rayquaza would be essentially useless starting somewhere between stages 2500-3000 because of the stacking damage reduction the enemies get. You eventually have no choice but to play a Sturdy+Metal Burst mon to beat the bosses every 50 stages. Personally I am not a fan of how limiting it gets at that point, but the devs are currently working on revamping endless so that it is not a solved mode with only 1 viable strategy.

19:42 WHAT IT HAS 1 ATTACK HOW????
10 Soul Dews on the same Pokemon makes its nature's negative stat (e.g ATK for Modest) 1.
This video feels like a cool little time capsule for old pokerogue because things like crow's eternatus stat don't work anymore
The main reasons being
Eternatus now knows flamethrower so the only way you could be invincible is by getting dna splicers with a dachsbun and something that would result in a steel/fairy type with well baked body
Leppa berry limit was reduced from 10 to 2
And a lot more things
7:14 Mama crow 😂
The game ends at wave 5850, it just stops working. The abosulte highest anyone ever got was 5885
highest someone's got is just slightly past floor 37000, but you can't get past 5850 anymore.
Game changed soooo much since then. Completely new game with random events and stuff
wdym you could win forever, with that team you should be gratefull if you make it past floor 2000
