The Wallabies plan for a clean sweep got Scotched. Well done to the Wallabies anyway for their improvements since the RWC. Scotland the brave are always feisty and competitive, no team can take them lightly.
Composure sums it up well I think and Scotland were certainly the more composed. They defended well and exploited the Aussie defence (which was poor) when those opportunities arose and got some good tries. Scotland will be real contenders in the 6N next year methinks. I can see Ireland exploiting those Aussie defensive weaknesses even more this Saturday and scoring quite a few tries and winning well. In saying that however, it would not surprise me at all if Joe Schmidt has a trick or two up his sleeve for this game. If there's one man who knows Irish rugby inside out it's him.
Hard to gauge that match. Aussies maybe don’t have strength in depth after their injuries and Scotland are a team that will exploit those weaknesses. Anyway, really looking forward to the Lions series.
I expected this result simply because Australia just isn't there yet. The hype after the England and Wales games was exaggerated. Yes, Australia has improved in 2024, but to be fair, England really should have put that game to bed early on. Wales is just poor at the moment. Along with England and Argentina, I believe that Scotland is arguably a top 5 side, so I just couldn't see how Australia was going to win this one.
Bubble slightly deflated but we have already over achieved on this tour. One from four was my par for this tour. We are still in the hunt for a third win as unlikely that might be. Go Wallabies.
Autumn Nations Series great games, refs not so good lots of mistakes from to many officials World rugby we need clarification Saying nothing just makes it worse we want to know how and why these calls good or bad are made we need clarification on the rules when these confusing calls are made

@vladtheinhaler6579 thanks for your sharing, lets see what IREvAUS ends up being like.
Fill Russel missed many penalty kicks! I was very surprised
50% for him, yip, not his best.
It was blowing a gale which didn't help

@kradomc thanks so much for the comment
Try of the game was Finn Russell - involved most of the backs.
they're absolute class when they're in that flow state, and the depth is theree too!
Scotland pack far better than ever has been. Bolt on a set of backs as good as any in the world & you have a team that can compete with anyone.
@ArchieSmith-h7t they are looking good, but loss their composure against the Boks, thats what they need to tighten up in my amateur opinion

@rolly.999 Not that I am aware of.
Am Scottish and have to agree. There were a lot of strange calls in this game.
