It’s the big 150th Anniversary for Ireland, really hoping they will give the performance that I know is in them! I think it will be an emotional time for many, so hope it’s a great game, but obviously we want an Ireland win, I don’t care how many by, just a win please ☘🇮🇪💚 thanks Mark again, great podcast 👍
Another great preview Mark cheers! the Wallabies will be looking to improve their defence and they may be better prepared after a tough game against Scotland which could possibly work to their advantage.ive picked the wallabies to win a close game and an upset 27-25 result
Going to the game, (Aussie). Hope we front up in defence as we’ve been leaking too many points every game. It’ll be a greasy weekend and IRFU 150th anniversary, both of which favour the home team. And the Faz v Schmidt background for 2025. How good!?
Excellent aynalist as usual Mark . It go I g to be close so I'll take a one point win for Ireland . I won't be at the game but I'll give a big warm welcome to Joe Schmidt . He changed the way we p!she's for the better ( no better man ) .
Mainly worried about Joe Schmidt as he can always get the best out of any team and insane attention to detail, he coached NZ to the win against IRE in the RWC.
He felt a bit bad about that. He's on Donnacha O'Callaghan and Tommy Bowe's podcast this morning. He'll have a few plays up his sleeve for sure. He falls back into say "we" pretty easily.
Irish Rugby's 150th Anniversary this weekend, so be sure that the Ireland team will be giving a good performance for that reason alone and the other big reason Joe is back in town, I believe the Wallabies have not won in Ireland since 2013, I think Ireland will win by 15+
Thanks for the great preview. I don't expect this one to be close, though. I think that the Irish phase play will ultimately overwhelm the Ausie defence, while the Irish defence is on a different level to England. Ireland by 15+.
Edmed has been okay in an underwhelming Waratahs team the last few years but Joe obviously sees something there (as do I) Waratahs have a far better squad next year (Bell and Tupou in the front row as well as Sualii) so now is a good time to step up
Mark this test will be of big significance to both teams.If Ireland wins it will influence Andy Ferrell's mind significantly with regards to the selections of the B&I Lions team to tour Aus next year.I think the bulk of the Lions will come from Ireland.I'll also be keen to see how Joe Schmidt goes against his former team! Just my thoughts!
An easy win for Ireland, but then, I thought England would breeze past Australia! Probability suggests Ireland by 15 even though match history says it'll be closer. Welcome back Fraser McReight!
I think the Aussies might sneak a win. Ireland peaked at the RWC against SA, while the Aussies are on the rise. Might be that their trajectories are close to intersecting.
@ the win in Durban was certainly an improvement on the performance at Loftus, but neither team performed at the level of the RWC group game, and Ireland haven’t improved since. It’s worth remembering that, for that game, Ireland had gotten themselves up to a level of emotional intensity that is very difficulty to replicate. They had felt humiliated the previous week and Farrell had laid into them over letting Snyman get away with smashing Crawley a touch late. They were literally breaking legs in that game (for 40mins). The Aussies can be annoying, but no one hates them enough to get up to that level of emotional intensity. For Australia, they’re clearly on an upward trajectory and they have time on their side. Individually, they are superb athletes with almost otherworldly ball skills and crazy good in the air (must be Aussie rules influence). What they lack is cohesion, but we’re starting to see glimpses. Ireland don’t have much behind the front line. They’re all going mad for a young flyhalf, but they’ve got no depth at tight five or nine. So yeah, I could obviously be wrong, but I see the Aussies as tracking upwards and Ireland are in decline. The question is how close are they to the same level?

It's been pissing rain here in Ireland.. Thanks Mark 😊
35% chance of rain during game time according to my Weather insiders. :-)
Brilliant analysis Mark 👏.
@davidpearn2484 thank you kindly
As a neutral Saffa; like the look of these teams! And love your videos as always!!
@robertfridjhon550 thank you very much

@adrianincapetown7043 OK, lets see how your prediction turns out
Very interested to see how Edmed goes. We need to build a bit of depth at 10 if we are going to keep up the momentum.
Hopefully a competitive game!
@markbatson7973 Yes will be watching Edmed with interest
Edmed has been okay in an underwhelming Waratahs team the last few years but Joe obviously sees something there (as do I)
Waratahs have a far better squad next year (Bell and Tupou in the front row as well as Sualii) so now is a good time to step up
Lets see how he goes
Good man mark!
Thanks for listening
Greeting from dublin .. its going to be cold and wet here for the game
@christianmccann9400 well then we will see how they cope with that, thank you for the weather update
Good point of view mate, you knocked on when you forgot to mention 7 missed tackles from Kellaway😉
Hey @timprimmer8829 thanks for sharing that, didnt include it as I didnt see it.
In Joe, we trust. Sorry, wrong year. Covid threw everything out. In Andy we trust. nice to see Gus back.
@lawLess-fs1qx Thanks for the comment

I’m off to the avia stadium tomorrow to watch the match
Wonderful. Please enjoy yourself and have a great time.
Very close for the first 35 minutes.
@LeMerch Ok lets see
Always wary of a Joe Schmidt team. He knows where the bodies are buried.
Ha ha, lets see
Enjoyed his chat with Tommy & Donnacha today.

@rabbitss11 Lets see how your prediction goes, thanks for the comment
@@insiderugbywithmark I'm not putting money on it, my predictions are terrible
Respectfully disagree regarding Slipper. Last few games in the southern hemisphere games he was walking around looking lost way too much.
@rossd6809 Respectful disagreement accepted. All points of view are welcome on this channel

Yet Ireland beat SA in SA this year ?

@kevinewert8546 an interesting read on how you are seeing things. Thank you for the contribution. Enjoy the game
Don't forget the hsbc 7s start today.
Best wishes to EVERYONE involved in the 7´s
Australia 6/1 with the bookies Mental.
@davidpearn2484 that seems weird
Go Australia. Ireland by 12.
@DavidSmith-yi8ou OK noted.
Wallabies only for the win if Harry Potter can do some magic 🪄
@apnira10 nice
@@insiderugbywithmark 😄😏
lolosio should not be in the squad
@alanbstard4 Why dod you think that?
@@insiderugbywithmark he's simply not up to standard
Historically these teams play LOW scoring games.
