The fact that she wrote out his reaction as if it were nothing says a lot. Reminds me of Cory Legebokoff, a Canadian serial killer. The story of how he got caught is amazing. What he said, "I was beating a deer to death. That's what rednecks do for fun," and the rookie cop said something about how people who are violent to animals sometimes graduate to people. At that moment, Cody had already killed four women. That was also the end of it for him. He is in jail now. Reminds me of her quite a lot, though there's no sign she's killed any human beings. If I were her husband, I'd be a mite nervous by now.
Born and raised South Dakotan and am proud to have voted against her every chance I got. She has always been full of crap, but once she got on the MAGA train she went full cuckoo bananas.

ZZZZZZZ - - - Stats Show Fentanyl Replacing Heroin as Cartel Cash Cow
Fentanyl is rapidly replacing heroin as the drug cartels are using to make money. Statistics on drug seizures from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) show that there has been a clear shift in the cartels’ smuggling habits, and the data strongly indicate that the border chaos of recent years is facilitating this lethal trade. Comparing statistics across the last three full fiscal years (FY) is as it informative as it is alarming.
Heroin seizures were high throughout FY 2021, closing the year on 5,400 lbs. seized. But by FY 2023 seizures had fallen to just 1,500 lbs. That is a 72 percent drop in just two fiscal years. By contrast, fentanyl seizures in FY 2021 were 11,200 lbs. and over 27,000 lbs. in FY 2023. This is an enormous 141 percent increase. The statistics show that the cartels are clearly changing their business model. Cartels see more money and growth opportunity in fentanyl, and are moving away from heroin and towards fentanyl.
Fentanyl is attractive to the cartels because of its massive money making potential. In terms of the profit margin, for just $50,000 in production costs, $20 million worth of fentanyl can be sold. This is a return of $400 for every $1 spent. For cartels, like any business, the profit margin of that magnitude is too high to ignore. Another feature that attracts the cartels is the sheer addictiveness. Fentanyl snares people into addiction more quickly and totally than even heroin, given that fentanyl is 100 times more potent than heroin. The more powerful the drug, the more powerful the addiction and with that, the more business for smugglers and dealers

My guess is that Noem either did, or attempted to strike and hurt Cricket while he was sitting in the front seat after the chicken episode, and "attacked" her as an act of self-defense.

Sadly, most people are serial killers. The average American kills 100 innocent animals per year. 😢 I don't support Kristi Noem in any way. She is cruel. That said, most people support shooting innocent animals in the head--they just do it vicariously and pay slaughterhouse workers to use the captive bolt gun.
We humans don't need to eat other animals (in fact, vegans live on average 6♀️ to 10♂️years longer than animal eaters). And innocent animals do NOT deserve to be incarcerated, tortured, branded, castrated, and have their teeth and other body parts cut off (all without anesthesia), then killed at a fraction of their normal lifespans--many dismembered while still fully conscious--just for the pleasure of human taste buds.

Sadly, most people are serial killers. The average American kills 100 innocent animals per year. 😢 I don't support Kristi Noem in any way. She is cruel. That said, most people support shooting innocent animals in the head--they just do it vicariously and pay slaughterhouse workers to use the captive bolt gun.
We humans don't need to eat other animals (in fact, vegans live on average 6♀️ to 10♂️years longer than animal eaters). And innocent animals do NOT deserve to be incarcerated, tortured, branded, castrated, and have their teeth and other body parts cut off (all without anesthesia), then killed at a fraction of their normal lifespans--many dismembered while still fully conscious--just for the pleasure of human taste buds.

As others have said, statute of limitations. Also, with a decent lawyer, she can easily put forth the defense argument that the dog was aggressive and violent and had to be put down in order to protect her family.
Over 600,000 dogs get put down in the U.S. every year...and a lot of them aren't even violent dogs. What she did is not a crime. Bragging about it is pretty demented, though.

Another story of hers that doesn't add up.
I replied to that last weekend. If she was counseling and setting the stage for foreign policy for 30 years, she would have been 24 years old when she started that career.

I am a "real American" who has lived on a farm my entire childhood. I lived with the pragmatic relationship with animals, but we never put a dog down who wasn't terminally ill, and when we did that we took them to the vet, and did it ethically. And felt like crap because of it. What shows an amazing amount of detachment from reality, is how she assumed this would make her look good--so good, she decided consciously to include it in her book, and double down when called out on it.
