There are some free on line content, but it's no more my mission to search for news and views in different medical specialties to inform and instruct myself. Therefore, a person like Dr Campbell, who has an academic and teaching background and who's still interested in teaching nurses and healthcare staff, and like spending his day searching news in medicine, is native English speaker, and able to "translate" medical jargon so lay persons can understand, is a big help for me, not a native English speaker and with no more subscription to paper scientific journals.
I, however, can access some printed scientific journals, even in English. While locked down, I could not have access to any of them.

    • @ColdHawk
      @ColdHawk 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

The loss of nuance in the “messaging” put out by our institutions is so discouraging at best and dangerous in some of the worst cases. It is infuriating to see the medical establishment treat the release of information, across all channels, as an intervention to change health-related behavior. In straight terms, information has been given out not as a way of educating people but as a way of manipulating the public’s behavior. Nature is complex and often nuanced while our understanding of it will always, fundamentally be an abstraction. The degree of blindness or hubris necessary to think the current medical understanding held as consensus is the “correct” interpretation, and will lead to the “correct” course of action, is shocking. We cannot - _can not_ - get it right all the time and depriving our fellow human beings of the information to make their own decisions based on the information available and a medical / public health recommendation is simply unethical. It is unethical in a way that leads to the unraveling of the trust that holds societies together.
I am not even addressing the manipulation of health information for political or personal purposes here. That is its own can of nightcrawlers.

There are two ways to test a new drug. You can conduct the traditional exhausting clinical trials over a period of 7 years or so; or you can just give it to everyone and see what happens. The problem with the second way is that if things go south, the test subjects will not fall for that one again.

And the instructor was so odd, he said Africa needs a bombing to wipe everything out, and to start over. He was quite shocking. He also came to class 1x with his front trousers zipper unzipped. I live in Malawi, Africa. I'm certain this was the best place in the world to be during that whole mess!! I think part of what protected us was the fact the Malawians have never (previously) been apt to be obsessively afraid of germs or use hand sanitizer and stuff! So as children, they actually develop a strong immune system. (I think it's tragic how it's become so prominent now.) Also, because about 90% of Malawians go out in the morning to find/earn food for the day, it was not possible for us to lock down. There definitely were deaths, but the numbers were pretty small, and a vast majority of those people were older. Other than having to close schools for about 3 months, we lived our lives. I am also taking Vitamin D3 under my doctor's supervision. Although Thailand has plenty of sunshine most of the time, yet most Thais avoid being outdoors because of the hot and sticky weather. Except in its short winter (Dec-Jan), in which the weather is pleasantly cool. Therefore, Vitamin D shortage is common, to my surprise.

As for the balance issues and sleeplessness, maybe the sleeplessness makes balance harder, and maybe the sleep issues could be anxiety caused by the talk of the vax being potentially harmful. Basically, the opposite of the placibo effect.

The best thing you two can do to fix your immune system is to do a little extended fasting. Then you will do much better for future challenges! Some of the many benefits of doing occasional extended fasting: Blood clotting is reduced and blood clots and arterial plaque are reabsorbed into the body. Blood pressure is quickly and dramatically lowered. Fribrosis/scarring is reversed over time and telomeres are lengthened, which also helps with lung fibrosis. The hunger hormone ghrelin lowers with extended fasting and rises from dieting. Vitamin D plasma levels are increased, and vitamin D in turn increases autophagy! Fasts from 36-96 h actually INCREASE metabolic rate due to norepinephrine release! Reflexes and short term memory are increased.
Thymus is regenerated, which suppresses aging and renews the immune system.
      Fasting increases nitric oxide.
Fasting stimulates phagocytosis, the ingestion of bacteria, plaques and viruses by the immune system.
After 72 hours or more fasted, your body recycles large numbers of immune bodies and creates new ones, rejuvenating your entire immune system.
Weight loss from fasting only loses10% lean tissue and 90% fat compared to the typical 25% lean tissue and 75% fat lost when calorically restricting for long periods.
Blood sugar and insulin are lowered, allowing white blood cells to move more freely throughout the body and do their job. Ideal blood sugar is around 80. Some viruses activate glycolosis (the release of sugar in the body) and clinically it has been shown that decreasing glucose metabolism in the body weakens the influenza virus.
Losing weight through intermittent fasting shows greater reduction in waist size and increase in insulin sensitivity for the same weight lost and alternate day fasters were shown to lose fat while gaining muscle at the same time over a six month period.
When you move out of MTOR your body shuts down the building blocks of the cell which are used to produce organelles and proteins. This means the mechanisms needed by viruses to replicate are by and large unavailable when you are in a deeply fasted state.
What breaks a fast? Anything with protein or carbohydrates in it will break a fast, though if the amount is tiny you will go back into ketosis very quickly. Most teas and herbs are OK. Most supplements and meds will either break ketosis directly or contain a filler that will. Many medications are dangerous to take while fasting so you may have to talk to your dr. about discontinuing them during a fast.
Fasts of several days will not affect short term female fertility and may increase long term fertility, especially in women with PCOS.
Does the body preferentially prefer glucose as a fuel? No, your body always runs mainly on fat except for brief periods of very intense exercise. Your brain also prefers to burn ketones at a rate of around 2.5 to 1 when they are available in equal quantity to glucose.
Fasting stimulates the AMPK complex and activates autophagy. Autophagy (literally self eating) will cause cells to recycle foreign matter such as viruses and kill cancerous and senescent cells. AMPK does many helpful things in the body including activating the body's antioxidant defenses.
Deep ketosis virtually eliminates chronic inflammation in the body. This can offset the life threatening symptoms of viral pneumonia which effectively kills you through inflammation. This also creates BHB ketones in your body, which also help your immune system and anti-oxidative system, especially in the brain. Ketones also provide an additional energy source during infection, which is critical when trying to fight off a bug. In fact you can have as much as three times the total energy available in your blood when you are in deep ketosis, or even more.
It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mitichondrial DNA, leading to improved ATP production and oxygen efficiency and thereby making cells better able to fight off infection. Increased mitochondrial function also has the added benefit of increasing your metabolism and cancer prevention!
When you fast, this stimulates apoptosis in senescent or genetically damaged cells. This kills these cells off completely. Senescent cells are responsible for the effects of aging and are the root cause of the development of cancer. If it were possible to destroy them all it would completely stop aging and cancer. That is not possible but fasting can help limit these effects by killing off many of the affected cells and limiting the future effects of aging.
Fasting also releases BDNF and NGF in the blood which stimulates new nerve and brain cell growth, helping a great deal with diseases like MS, peripheral neuropathy and Alzheimers.
In fact, the biochemical regulator of BDNF production is beta-hydroxybutyrate, which is the same ketone the body produces to nourish the brain while fasting.
Fasting also increases telomere length, negating some of the effects of aging at a cellular level.
A fasting mimicking diet for 3-5 days in a row also provides many of the same benefits as water fasting. FMD usually has 200-800 calories, under 18 g of protein and under 18 g of carb.
Exogenous ketones can aid with fasting, making it easier in healthy people and allowing some people with specific issues to fast in spite of them without worrying as much about hypoglycemia.
Children, pregnant or nursing women should not fast for periods longer than 16 hours. People with pancreatic tumors or certain forms of hypoglycemia generally cannot fast at all. Type 1 diabetics can also fast but it is more complicated and should be approached with caution as it could lead to ketoacidosis. Those with Addison's disease may also be unable to fast without liberal use of exogenous ketones, depending on severity. If you experience extreme symptoms of some kind, especially dizziness then simply break the fast and seek advice.

Fasting can help with fibromyalgia, which is related to mitochondrial dysfunction. So can neutralized vinegar.
It increases mitochondrial function and repairs mitichondrial DNA, leading to improved ATP production and oxygen efficiency and thereby making cells better able to fight off infection. Increased mitochondrial function also has the added benefit of increasing your metabolism and cancer prevention!
Does fasting lower testosterone? No, it raises it when the fast is broken by increasing lutenizing hormone and helps build muscle by increasing insulin sensitivity!
The hormone Leptin is an immunomodulator that keeps the body from attacking itself and obesity causes leptin resistance. Fasting very quickly reduces leptin resistance and leptin levels and one day of fasting can cut your leptin levels in half and gets your immune system working properly again!

There is also some info on FLCC for post sufferers. My biggest lesson since this began is to take charge of your own health if you want to stay healthy. The best way to do that is to boost your immune system through fasting!

Less beds resulted in over capacity in limited places. Even then the FEMA sites were empty. How about the Navy hospital ships that went unused, but still in the harbor?

Love your videos , and many thanks for putting them out there. The stats on Africa are likely caused for different reasons , mainly sunlight , it is known that UV light kills viruses and Africa gets an awful lot of it . combine that with it being an airborne virus in a place with fewer indoor spaces . BTW back in 1950s british medics in singapore showed that UV air cleaners in classrooms stopped measles in its tracks however theres no profit in that ;) .

The red light and near infrared have a big positive effect on the human body and so does the vit D. Adding vit D will only help if you keep insulin low in the body, otherwise the vit D stays locked up in the fat cells! And the best way to do that is to do a little extended fasting. th-cam.com/video/v4xzbSygUMA/w-d-xo.html

I have stalled uv cleaners in my ventilation in the USA. I did this early in the pandemic. Just today I woke up with a cold but recently I have been in close contact with normal folks, no 6 ft. distancing. First cold since 2/2019. I do disinfect my hands before and after entering the supermarket. I choose not to be in crowded venues like theaters etc. But I am in a region with high tourist traffic and there is an epidemic of cold and flu from the source regions of tourism.

It’s a bit misleading. Many of us subscribed at the beginning of covid when he provided lots of data on covid, the symptoms, and preventions. Once he changed course and encouraged people to get sick with covid I found that alarming. I am still a subscriber only because he provides links to reports so I can read them myself and can draw my own conclusions from the the full report, rather than his cherry-picking bits out of them.
