Can you check in the C3 service menu if we can disable the auto-dimming (TPC and GSR) features? LG apparently removed this in C3 but they pushed a firmware update due to community feedback. Would like to confirm before I buy one myself.

are they the same size? afaik 42" 48" c2 uses the previous non evo oled. and the recently manufactured (q3/q4 2022) 55 c2 uses evo oled. which should close the gap between c3. i myself use 55 c2.

Thanks for the video. I am leaning towards lg c2 42" for my use (30% coding, 40% photo-video editing, 20% entertainment, 10% movies). A quick question, I've watched 10s of youtube videos and read 10s of Reddit posts. But couldn't find that by hook or crook (external software, service remote etc)
can LG C2 42" do a split screen? For example, Hook up a laptop and pc to different HDMI and display at the same time.

iv been waiting on a comparison since the C3 Launch and this video has helped me decide big time between the 2 as iv never had a Oled before and my take from this video is if you're on a budget and still want top tier features then go C2 but if you've never owned a Oled before and money ain't a problem and want the latest features then go with the C3, personally for me i wouldn't just buy it for the software but that does help a lot as it would get frustrating with all the scrolling and slowness from the C2. The C3 has a slight edge and would be perfect for the right person, depending on the budget.

The c2 is perfect for any first time oled owner, very little difference will be apparent unless your keen on having the latest and greatest like you mentioned. It’s like the difference between owning a iPhone 12 and upgrading to the 13 the following year. I personally can’t speak on the software I don’t use it, I use Apple TV. I can guarantee though if you’re a first time oled owner you’ll be blown away by either C2 or C3 and once you go Oled everything non Oled seems basic😂

I just bought the C2 open box - my first oled. was feeling a little discouraged by the darker contrast - i think it depends on the platform you use with it. i like the user friendly function of the apple tv 4k but it never gives that pop like the roku 4k or firestick. when i watched you video i decided to turn lights off and watch the tv with my Roku 4k hbo max gave me a beautiful consistent picture. i’m not really a gamer but i bought and xbox for my kids. i’m hoping to try that tomorrow. i was thinking about returning the tv for the c3 but it will cost 500 plus taxes - most of them out on order from best buy but not out yet. i think i can save 500. and learn to enjoy the c2. if you have any other thoughts i would like to know. thanks 🙏

I hated how dark my first OLED was the C9. I had it for about 3 days and returned it. Ended up getting a CX from Costco a year or so later and found out there is a break in time for OLEDs to reach maximum luminance, this turned out to be true. I LOVE my tv now and can't go back.
I also got it from costco for the generous return policy, as I planned on using my TV as my PC monitor. I'm at..... lemme check... 6172 Power on hours now, 0 burn. None zero zilch. And its primary use is a PC monitor.
Oh and don't be afraid to play around with the settings.

Appreciate you watching and showing love. UK is definitely on my list of places I wanna travel to. One day...haha. I mean at the time the CX was a big dog and still is a solid TV. But the C3 will give you a brighter OLED picture quality and plus you'd be upgrading the processor which on the C3 is definitely a smooth experience. My opinion is yes you will have a good experience on the C3 but if the GX is working good for and you not having any issues don't feel pressure to go out and spend the money...but I can't front I'm loving the C3 tho haha.

I just got a 55 inch C2 for $1200 a brighter image is a legit thing BUT I got a very light controlled room. Just isn't worth $700 for the upgrade. The C2 55 inch for $1200 is such a steal man it's insane. I am happy that the C3 does seem like a better TV I really expected it to be this generational level of an upgrade. IMO the C2 is an insane value right now and im happy I got one before the last oft he stocks get sold. I am really happy the screens upgrade is mostly a brightness thing because that's the biggest draw OLED has had. Thing to note is that extra brightness will drive those pixels more POTENTIALLY leading to decreased life span. Pretty sure both are WOLED so that white pixel could easily end up handling this and it's just a pro. Good video really really good overview of everything which I really like. A TV isn't just a screen and this video covers everything included in these products.

I had a high-end LG OLED TV ($5000 retail) and days after the warranty ran out I was noticing some burn-in. Called them to see if they would do anything and they had me send a picture and the guy says "Yeah that's burn-in, shouldn't be happening, we will call you back within 3 days to schedule repair/replacement". Sounded good to me but I waited 5 days and no call so I called them to find they decided not to do anything. Terrible customer service and yeah, while the TV worked as it should it was great looking but after that no more LG or OLED forever for me. Now have a QLED that equals or surpasses the OLED except for the viewing angle, but it's nothing that matters cause I have no seating at extreme angles. Good luck with your LG.

I got my C2 and I love it to death because it was an upgrade from a 10 year old cheap Lcd which made it worth while disappointingly only 10 games can run at 120 frames per second on a ps5 and that's literally why I bought it but If you run a PS5 the TV absolutely makes up for the barren wasteland of features on a ps5 like suddenly being able to Google with a voice search and the results pops up in a small window in the corner enabling freedom while you play.
Moral of the story buy if you got a PC that can manage 120hz frame rates, if you have a ps5 120hz is almost non existent but it's a godsend for features.
