Mine had 1.4 too but it was for warzone, u might’ve have to do different settings in fortnite to activate 120hz

This work around was on warzone, now there might be different settings inside of fortnite for u to enable to get 120hz, but u wanna make sure that PS5 settings are done as shown in video

Guys if you are trying to play games like fortnite do not buy this monitor it will leave you with 60 fps and will say 120 in game but wills not look like it at all

I believe you will have to check the specs of your graphics card it will tell you what frame rates it supports on outputs
If your GPU supports 120hz output definitely you can play at 120

@@Raphael35423if you’re on console you can’t play above 120hz/fps anyway, and on top of that hdmi 1.4 only supports up to 144hz at 1080p. You’d need a monitor with a 2.0 port and a PC to get higher refresh rates( Console caps at 120 Fps) Late response but hope it helps (:

Yes you can, you have to disable auto resolution settings in video settings of xbox and enable 120hz there

i have a acer kg241 that runs 144hz and it doesn’t give me 120 fps on the ps5 , i use the cable the ps5 came with and have performance mode on but still nothing
You need hdmi2.1
It should switch automatically to 120 if follow all these steps in the video and make sure enable 120 inside the game as well
Any reason why this isn't working on my Acer Predator XB271HU QHD monitor for cold war on my ps5?
Only thing i could think of is that
First make sure you have selected 1080p
Than turn HDR off
Turn performance mode on in saved game and data
Than go to game/settings/graphics/turn on 120hz
Now make sure you are using the hdmi came with PS5
Because that monitor is 1440p which PS5 doesn’t support so you gotta make sure you select 1080p

How do you get it to work if you don’t have Cold War but got warzone seems stuck on 60
