I think its very cool that out of all the people trent could have had to guest perform on his final tour he chose gary numan. It says allot on numan's influence not only on NIN but pop music in general. Gary Numan is a true godfather of modern music

considering that NIN are a direct successor to Numan's darkwave stuff this combo totally fits, I'm certain they are mutual fans of eachother. and Trent is a historian of alternative music, just look at all the stuff he's chosen to cover. I'm positive he considers it a tragedy that he never got to work with joy division as an example, he's certainly coverred enough of it.
The song FRACTURED LOVE by INDTIKO sounds like Johnny Lydon singing a melancholy love song to a Gary Numan soundtrack with an Echo and the bunnymen 80s vibe...
One of his best songs however horrific if you understand the lyrics. Pretty sure very few if you do. Best version though Gary and his beautiful daughter singing in the morning in their house during lockdown acoustic it's precious you should hear it. Persia you have a good Father.
