Hell Yeah he Was Trents Right Hand Man for the best years NIN!!!! He was never properly replaced and can't be...Now they just need Charlie on Keys...Charlie gave Reznor the best NIN REMIXES that made him stand out in a world of cliche industrial rock!
Funny .. back in 1993 I got this CD offer in Mail 10 CD's for the Price of one. Later when they sent Me 7 CD's to try , I decided to buy this CD by NIN. not sure if it was 1994.
@obscureface they aren't friends anymore. after alex and josh replaced jerome he was completely unwelcome back in the band. he's more than healthy enough to play again.
you never know danny might come back on the next album probelry by next yr,i think his going to keep this band crew i mean rob has always been there anyway but yeah....
supermercado54 TDS was a concept album. He wrote some songs to blurt out some feelings and thoughts about things that bother him at that moment. At the Self Destruct Destruction Tour he didnt felt the same way that he was durning the recording. That's one of the reasons.
Oh there are plenty of songs you should turn a blind eye too if you are a Christian. "Ruiner" "The hand that feeds" etc. According to your faith, Trent should go to hell, while for instance a greedy banker goes to heaven just because he happens to believe in invisble sky daddy
Unsound Methods I'm not super religious, I just kinda celebrate holidays and stuff, I'm kinda Christian because of that, but I criticise the church and it's practices, and I can look at it objectively as a religion
i know what you mean. i love the track but i turn a blind eye to what the song is lyrically. I like to think of the chorus as a philosophical reference which it likely was intended as, but there was definitely some intended malice as well at the time of conceptualization.
The most controversial song on The Downward Spiral. As much as I like the music for this one -- as a Christian this one is a hard song to listen to for me these days.
this sounds pretty bad. like a cover band or something. i really, really hate to say it, and i know people don't want to hear it. it's just my honest opinion.
Oh my god! This is epic! I'd never thought I'd see Danny on the same stage as Trent again! This is heaven!

man why doesnt Lohner become the band member again?
This is insane! thanks!
That bass line though...
Just EPIC!!!
Best Nin song
Trent can't die. The Grim Reaper is afraid of him and the devil is too busy head-banging.
best live band EVER
If I waited fifteen years to hear that riff live, I'd be smacking screaming bitches.

i think jerome cant play live anymore, i remember he was on tour back in 05 but had to pull out because he was having heart problems.
@linnarkala I mean, Jerome was part of that line up too.

then you should probably check out the other videos with him in it: "get down, make love" "wish" and "mr. self destruct"
There is only live versions of this in 2009? Didn't he play this on the self destruction tour?
Once. And never more
+Smola666 do you know why not?

@bigrager1 What about Jerome?
brian i'm the same way its makes no sense but it works for me!
maybe jerome too?
The ultimate line up would be trent, robin, danny, atticus, and freese
haha yeah
If Trent Reznor's going to Hell because of this song, then I'm going too.

Doesn't that make you a hypocrite?
@starstruckstarfuck They are in tune and on tempo. Just overbearingly loud :) the main riff is supposed to sound messy and dissonant!
@briani4735263 Lol, whenever I listen to NIN while driving I get so aggressive and pissed!
thats not danny lohner... its brad pitt
he should of never fired danny
Freese trumps Jerome anyday!
aa
I hate when chicks scream on live shows. -.-'
You can listen to the album at home.

Jeromes awesome but i think him and trent hate eachother.

If there is a hell, I'll see you there.
