I cannot recommend enough putting it in sand mode when doing trails in snow if it’s only a few inches and you want to get some real rally style sliding going on. So fun! I was drifting through the neighborhood for a solid 45mins the other night and went through over a quarter tank lol
Brad x 2! Great adventure + lots of fun (says I watching you from my couch) + an almost (key word) mishap = great times! Bravi, y'all (mix of Italian + Southern drawl = smiles). See you in less than a month, Brad (-1). :-)
Great intro. Great scenery. Looks like a blast. On video it looks like you could have made it through that mud puddle, my bad influence friend side coming out haha. Thanks for the video sir.
Yep. Honestly it wasn’t the depth so much as the sheets of thick ice. The wrangler was on 35 inch tires and a bit more steel. Thanks is for the bad influence. Appreciate you!
Great recovery guys! I've done a lil snow wheelin in the woods & come to realize that ANY off camber situation can be a potential disaster! Good job nonetheless.
Awesome video! Incredible cinematography, the drone shots were very cool with all the snow and swooping over the frozen water. I’m so jealous I couldn’t take another week off of work and follow y’all out there.
Awesome intro Brad, but. I DON’T LIKE SNOW! Driving back up to Michigan tomorrow because we HAVE to! Hope to catch up with you someday in someplace warmer than this!
Was the pit that rutted that you couldn't make it thru? I'd rather be pulled thru a mud pit than the off camber route in the snow. But you all did a great job winching to keep the jeep upright!
@@ProdigalOverland I enjoy hearing your children talking of what is going on. They are involved and understand. It's wonderful that your son does the drone footage.
I am no expert at all ,, well especially in the snow haha .. but isn't that grand cherokee breaking too much ,, and with that incline surface that makes it slide closer and closer to the mud pit
I just thought about the problem you guys had with your front suspension. I can't remember seeing about how you resolved that issue. Maybe I missed it. Could you tell me what it was?
I talked about it at the end of the “snake “ video. But it seems like it just needed to sit a while. When we came off the trail and parked it, in a few minutes it leveled itself out. It was fine on the trails the rest of the day. 🤷🏼♂️
Only complaint with the grand Cherokee it’s not high enough. I just bought the tough country 2.5 lift kit I’m Hoping I get decent ride height from that. Unfortunately that girl can’t drive good, she should stick To roads not trails 😂
This video is embarrassing to WK2 owners ....A Wrangler EASILY made it though the mud puddle, but the WK2 couldn't even skirt around the same puddle without a winch....
The main concern with the mud puddle was the large chunks of ice in it. And the amount of throttle required to get through it. It kind would have been like ramming large chunks of ice into the front plastic portions. As far as not being able to make it around the side. I would chalk that up to experience.
Another great video, thanks! I'm sorry, the dramatic intro music sounds like the sequel to Gladiator or something. Please tone it down. Light country western guitar might be good. And once again, my request to turn off your DRLs. Stop the annoying video flicker!
There are hours of work in these videos and very minimal financial reward. Its so low that if the person creating the channel doesn’t enjoy the work. It’s not worth doing. I have a lot of fun with the intros. And our stats show that most do as well. But either way they stay. First and foremost this is for our family and kids. There are plenty of channels with a guy and a camera. And of course you are always free to create you own channel and have people critique it. I look forward to watching your light country western guitar channel. Have a great night.
We had such a great time with!!! Can’t wait to do it again!!!
Yes! it was awesome!
Let me start off by saying job well done guys...!!! And this only confirms for me even more how much my next vehicle will be a jeep grand cherokee.
Two of the best TH-camrs in one place
Thanks!
That recovery looked intense! Great video.
Thanks for watching!
THAT WAS SKETCH😲
Anchoring is always a good idea in those situations. Been there done that!!
It sure was!
Wow this intro gave me chills!
Thanks. Proud of that one

I believe that!
This was a great edit! That opening was like a story till now opening, so good! Looked like an awesome adventure!
We did have a blast! Thanks for watching!
Great video! I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit 4x4 that I’ve yet to get in the snow, this makes me want to! You’ve relearned a new subscriber!
The grand Cherokee can EASILY go through mud that deep.
I've been in deeper with mine and made it no problem. 😊
"just trust me" when people have more confidence than skill.
She’s a chick lol chicks can’t drive good 😂
13:39 made me smile

You guys should have brought traction board for that first hole. Got myself screwed like this a couple time. Definitely scary stuff!

I Enjoy your video
Where in ouchita is this I love camping at the ouchita state park in the tent camping area! It is about 20 miles from hot springs
We were probably close. We left from a town called Paron.
@@ProdigalOverland looks like paron is about a hour east north east of the campgrounds! Thank you for your help
I always liked having the lead. Nice!
I know you do!

Yes that would be good. Safe Travels!
Okay sign me up I'm sold I'm ready for the next adventure
Hey Brad "snow blazer," (wait that's a Chevy) that was fun, btw you laid down some great soundtracks to set the mood
Glad you liked it!
Nice! These trails are right in my backyard. Your link up point with Matt is 5 minutes from my house 👍
That's awesome!
Hej ! Nice watching 👍
Were you guys on the Kiamichi trail? I’ve only hiked the Ouachita and would love to get out there in the Jeep.
I don’t think so. Honestly I was just following Matt
The trail with the mud hole is called Muse Mountain trail 👍
Классное видео! Привет из России!
U know Jeep🤪 in Poland my OVERLAND go for 1m snow 😍

It was deep. But I was a bit more concerned about the thick sheets of ice. Causing damage as we came through
@@ProdigalOverland ok...but thats why you let the other guy go first! 🤣
@@daveharness70 you got it. I was just along for the ride on this one!😉
Nice, always pushing the limits. I believe the nice drone footage is due to Matt?
We shared some. But most of it is ours. Including the whole opening. 😉
And most of the opening was shot by our 14 yo son

WK2 this is standart lift ?
Yes, Standard Quadra Lift Suspension
Why do your headlights flicker?
It’s the way the frame rate on the camera interacts with the lights
They don’t appear to flicker in real life
I got family out there and they call it the excuse my spelling wah-kita
cool! is this your main vehicle or do you only use it for off-road use?
It’s also our daily driver. 😬

downside of a 6000 lb grand cherokee, mud and snow traction limited, slippery girl.
2台目のトレイルホークはウインチ補助要らないでしょ?自力で脱出するところが見たかったなぁ。トレイルホークなんだからできるはず。
Why go "offroading" and ya chicken out on a mud hole? Point is to see what they can DO so why not do it?
