Very nice. Great tips on keeping the work area clean and efficient with as little waste as you can. It is so important to be able to laugh at ourselves!
I don't always work that clean... especially when I am in a hurry. But it is good to show others incase they are inspired to lean towards cleanliness in the shop. Laughter is used as a survival skill over here! Thanks for watching.. more fun stuff ahead. Michael
I hope you will stay for the journey! This upload was just a fun flashback to a year ago when we were learning how to use the set and had all sorts of ridiculous filming challenges. Our new How To stuff coming in 2025 is sharp and well organized. I hope you had at least one playful laugh when watching. =) Michael
My first mold was actually a waste plaster mold of a life size portrait. I was too afraid to obscure the detail that took me so long to sculpt, so I didn't put enough releaser (vaseline). I ended up with a big plaster block and a couple of lessons learned. Your wife did an amazing job and I'm sure that bunny will be just fine. Great content Michael and keep it coming, please! Thanks to you and your wife.
Thanks for tolerating our silly video. It was fun even though we did not know how to film 14 months ago. The bunny has recovered and so has my wife. Her Majesty said she may join us again on the new set. =) Sorry to hear about your plaster mold wipe out. Those are painful. Hopefully, our future content will spare others the same sculpture tears. Thank you for watching. Michael
I'm a bit confused as to what I'm watching.. There is an appeal to amateurish videos that don't have a script and people just do stuff. Then there is ofcorse an appeal to very well produced stuff. But this seems to fall in a bit of an uncanny valley in between where the video is really professional with multiple angles, camera person etc.. But then there is this strange green screen that doesn't really add anything and isn't tracking in moving shots and there is a bit of a geen hue. The audio seems to be quite bad, not sure though.. There seems to be something off.. I think you're a really skilled crafts person with a lot of valuable skills to share, I'm not sure this format is the best to show that however. Just for some inspiration, what you're showing is kinda like a cooking show and most people film it like a cooking show. But maybe you could try it with a gopro on your head kinda like how kenji Lopez-alt films a lot of video's.. Just some ideas to mix things up and see what sticks :)

Love this video! Very entertaining and full of mold making wisdom!
We just need to add cats into our videos and then we will be golden.
This is the best
Isn't she adorable? Good thing we know how to use the equipment now. This was almost 14 months ago.
haha. you guys are funny
I’m with your wife (not literally) in that I would leave the rabbit not filled with clay and just hot melt glued it to the board.
@@android01978 of course glue would have been easier....but not as much fun. =)
Please send to kriston

Understood... That is why there is an explainer at the intro of the video.... did you not see that? It addressed all of the above.
@ShapeShifters-TV I'm ashamed to say but I did skip the intro. My apologies!
Wassup with the fart in the beginning? No complaint, just curious why it was inspired and so wet.
Farts are critical to proper mold making.
