3/8” ar500 to 1500 yds, 1/4” ar500 beyond 1500 yds, 1/8” mild steel below 1000 FPS. Good to know. The bullet splash is visible and the target moves better
Yup! I used 3/16” ar400 plate at 1400 yrds. My 300 wsm didnt even make a dent but does clean paint off. I got another at 1 mile but havent hit it yet lol
"This is how we repair the targets" Me, over thinking this bit & waiting for some technical tool to appear! Just produces a sledge hammer and simply flattens it. LMAO mate. What else could it of been? 🤪
When you say "mild" steel (for your 3 millimetres ERL/URL range plates) are you still using AR500 steel and its "milder" just because of the reduction in thickness or are you then using less carbon content steel and what type then if so ?
Thank you. Watching on vacation in Lincoln NH, USA. Beautiful here, especially if you enjoy the outdoors. Stay safe everyone!
Awesome, Cheers
I see...you just work harden the mild steel up to AR500 spec ;-) Keep up the great work!!!

I like the idea of the carry handles built into the plates something you don't see here in the states.
Helps, Cheers

Mild steel (low carbon steel) what most steel actually is, AR500 and alike is a form of high carbon or armor steel, Cheers
👍🏻👍🏻
